Breath of the Universe

Migrated topic.

The Unknowing

Life is a dream, the heart a compass
We know the Universe is expanding...and that some time ago it was the size of a planck length (insanely tiny).

What if the Universe is breathing? ie. as it breathes in, it expands through space and time experiencing whatever it wants, and as it exhales, it returns to an infinitely small size annihilating everything it creates to do it all again for eternity? And we're part of it.

Wow.

I freaking love you guys.
Peace,
The Unknowing

That's my exact same thoughts - that the universe is "pulsating"

Starting (or always happening:? ) with big bang/s .... then gravity eventually pulling it all back together again, to a singularity.. ..starting the process all over again...

I know the universe is expanding (and at an increasing pace). This may eventually slow down if gravity gets stronger as all the super black holes swallow their galaxies up.. who knows... I'm not that clued into cosmology to be honest, though black holes and photons have always intrigued me more than anything about the cosmos.

No doubt we will understand this better when we unlock the mysteries of dark matter, dark energy, black holes, and all the crazy stuff that happens in the quantum domain. It's fascinating all the progress that are scientific experts are making in each relevant field, thats telling us the true nature of the universe.

The heart beats. As does the universe; in synchronicity with your being. The nurturing effect. I find the more spacious and expanded your mind/heart is, the more deeper the universe is in its full aliveness in connection to your own understanding and inner universal awareness.

This idea that it cycles through life/death is incredible. I like the meaning behind preparing oneself to the experience of physical death. To transcend into the 'other' and belong again amongst the known/unknown universal space. Or a realization/discovery of awe, importance, self etc.
