Can a full member please do me a quick favor?

Migrated topic.

Acharya

Rising Star
I was reading the thread "Past lives" in Spirituality & Mysticism
and would like to post a reply.

Can you please do it for me? Just one reply. Pretty please...

This is the link Past lives - Spirituality & Mysticism - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus

And this is it:

What if consciousness is a vibration thread independent of the Time-illusion which can be perceived and is manifesting itself on infinite frequencies corresponding to infinite realms?

Then, an "individual human life" on planet Earth could be the expression of an omnipresent "strand of consciousness", just one frequency in only one of those infinite realities. And "simultaneously", that same "individual strand of consciousness" could be "living" in ALL other realms "at the same time" and expressing itself "concomitantly" and "instantaneously" in "ALL" realities.

Thinking of existence in this way could lead us to the conclusion that consciousness is exploring itself and exploring "all" realities one by one and, in the process, is creating new realities along the way - defining infinity.

Now, that could be a giggly thought to have.

Thank you! I know I'm asking a lot here and considering possibility of being banned for this - or something :D

Many interesting topics I read, I cannot reply to and that makes me sad. :)

Well, I just did that, I guess. This new member area feels like a big prison where frequently asked questions are asked.

Oh, well, I'll just patiently wait a few years in here and then maybe they'll set me free.

Be patient and earn your desire for membership, you see? Being productive isn't getting others to do the work you need to do yourself. It's a rewarding process! That's essentially apart of the point, here. Also, read the ATTITUDE because recruiting others to do your work/postings is a no-no on the forum, Acharya. Unless given explicit permission.

Yeah, I figured it was a no-no. A whole lot of no-no's for new comers, and few yes-yes's.
I did read the ATTITUDE section. I read about 15 or 20 books worth of content on this forum in the last few weeks as swim is preparing for his first takeoff with the extraction in progress.

He's in no hurry, though. Basification ongoing for about a week, as he's doing a lot of work preparing the set as much as he can and awaiting the right moment.

I'll just continue to be an inmate in this area and be productive to the extent interesting topics are being posted in this area, and they are, but the more interesting ones are outside the walls.

Thank you for your input!

You mustve missed the part about SWIMing in all that reading you have done. You see that thing next to your username on a post that says promotion? ? Its basically an 'upvote' option for full members who see value in a newcomer's posts to suggest they become full members. That privelige (yes, privelige) is given to folks that contribute meaningful conversations to the forum. I can pretty much guarantee that noone will hit that promo button account of mere complaining.

That you spend years in the nursey is entirely up to you:thumb_up:

Maybe it's because Im on mobile but I don't see anything? Got a screen shot of it?

Only full members see the "promotion" flag. Null24 must have already forgotten his time as a new member.

Anyway, there is nothing wrong with replying to a thread in a section where you have no access by posting in a new thread in a section where you do have access and requesting a moderator to move the post about. Logging in on the chat may speed up the process of getting a moderator to assist you.

Oh, and please stop swimming. It's not very fashionable here.

I probably did.

Excuse me, kind sir, was I complaining? I was not.
I have something meaningful for you. It's "folks WHO contribute", "that" is used when talking about things, "who" when talking about people". "That" is also accepted when talking about people, but it isn't as precise. Hope that's meaningful.

He sure did.

I don't ever aim to be fashionable, but gotcha.

Ok, I will be completing the extraction process as soon as I feel I am "ready", as ready as I'll ever be to take that leap.

After that, I will be talking about my experience in great detail, probably, and maybe that will be useful.

Kisses!

Just for future reference, general protocol in this situation would be start a reply thread in the welcome area titled something along the lines of "re: past lives thread" and post your reply there rather than creating a thread asking for a full member to cross post it. You can also always contact a mod to merge your reply into the main thread if necessary though you still won't be able to reply in that thread till you've been promoted so it's best to wait till after to ask for a merge

When I was here last, it was fairly quick process. Usually 3ish months if you didn't participate a lot. 2 if you participated and didn't cause much trouble.

Don't worry it isn't years. Also, now you have something to shoot for.

A few things I have found to keep you busy.

Some of the folks here you should read from:
Bodhisativa <-- Guy is like our own plant shaman. Super Zen.
Dreamer042 <-- he is a good read usually and has a lot of solid Medical and Chemical information.
Cyb <-- One of the Tek Gawds.
Pandora/Traveler <-- Legends in their own rights. A lot of experience there.
Levianthansbane <-- Guy is like a modern day Zen hero. Though he doesn't post enough. If you are lucky to see him in chat say hi.

Then you have things like the Lexicon to make you way more paranoid about any of this than you need to be (I kid, but not really).

There is a lot to do, also chat is awesome. Just don't push any conspiracy things and listen to admins. :p

Also, don't take any of it too seriously (unless it's chemistry or medical), most people have A LOT of fun when they are in the mindspace.

In that spirit, but without cluttering things up with another thread over so small a thing, thanks to leon who posted Shawn Thornton's art here: Artist has a tumor in his Pineal gland and creates this amazing worrk - Music/Art/Literature - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus. Whoever described it as a psychedelic circuit board was spot on, looks good as deaktop wallpaper too.
