Can I graft Achuma to rooted San Pedro Stump?

Migrated topic.

I'm going to harvest one of my San Pedro columns, and the thought just occurred to me...why not graft a 6 inch Achuma (Trichocerus bridgessi) column that I just obtained to the remaining rooted base. It would spare the Achuma the effort and time of growing its own roots. Has anyone tried this? I don't know if the SP would reject the Achuma, but I figure there might be a fat chance it would accept the newcomer since other species such as Peyote (going on heresay) can be successfully grafted to SP. I'm going to consult the great oracle that is Google.

sure it would, but bridgesii can grow just as fast as san pedro if not faster. Unless it's a seedling I wouldn't bother.

I didn't realize that Achuma grows faster than San Pedro. Thanks, guys. SWIM is excited about the D-Limonene SP extraction that he's getting ready to do. I will of course post my yield, and later on report my trip(s).
