Can I smoke out of a pipe made of copper?

Migrated topic.
If you are applying a flame directly to the copper, I definitely wouldn't do this. If it gets hot enough some form of copper toxicity is possible especially with as hot as some torch lighters get. I wouldn't risk it. If the flame is not directly applied to it, it may be okay. Using a copper scrubby in various devices for vaporization is pretty common. I used one for a bit but the slight possibility of me being wrong about he health effects has caused be to stop using it. I personally wouldn't risk it either way, but it's up to you.

Despite the issue of possible copper toxicity, I have heard of someone getting copper shavings in their lungs and being in excruciating agony constantly, and doctors being unable to help in any way.
I wouldn't risk it, there are plenty of other safe materials for smoking devices to be constructed from.
Be safe.
