All interactions between matter can be seen as a transference or storage of information. The question is whether or not we can read that stored information, and the answer is usually "no". I think a more applicable question is not whether the LSD molecule can store information, but whether or not the molecule IS information. Communication just means physicalizing thoughts. In the case of words, thoughts are converted into sound vibrations. In the case of psychedelic thoughts, they are converted into chemical compounds such as LSD. When we take LSD, it's as though we are receiving the message intended by the creator of that particular molecule. In terms of whether or not the LSD molecule can be modified to produce different types of experiences, I'm sure that if that were the case, LSD manufacturers would already be doing it in order to further personalize the message that they intend to spread to the masses.
What I am trying to say is that LSD is like the voice of certain psychedelic thoughts that cannot be spread by other more conventional means of communication.
