cannabimimetic indole compounds

Migrated topic.
ABSTRACT
Novel cannabimimetic indole derivatives are presented which have preferential high affinities for one of the cannabinoid CB1 CB2 receptor sites. The improved receptor affinity makes these analogs therapeutically useful as medications in individuals and animals for treatment of pain, glaucoma, epilepsy, nausea associated with chemotherapy.

I've been doing quite a bit of research involving medical use of substituted dimethyltryptamines, and eventually expanded into medical use of indoles. As a medical user of cannabis, these cannabimimetic indole compounds caught my attention, and not for recreational experimentation, but as potential medicines to be researched.

These compounds can be potentially dangerous or may produce unpleasant or unpredictable effects when used as recreational substances, below in the link is a story from erowid regarding AM-2201, a cannabimimetic indole compound, which apparently produced dysphoric and seemingly psychedelic symptoms in this individual:

I'm very interested in these compounds, again not for recreational use, but for study, the chemistry is fascinating, I love to study tryptamines, and I use cannabis medically, and these compounds involve cannabinoid pharmacology and indole chemistry, so it's a near combination of interests.

Again I know very little about these compounds and have just begun to research them, generally I see cannabinoid receptor agonist research chemicals as dangerous and unnecessary, if marijuana was legalized federally very few people would use these compounds, even those on probation or parole may not be able to substitute cannabis with them because as they have been identified methods for testing in urine have been devoloped. That being said I still feel the scientific community may find some treasures hidden with in this chemical class of compounds.
