Canning salt

Anything other than salt could be considered an impurity, and there's no point in deliberately adding impurities if you don't have to. Magnesium silicate might contribute to emulsions, but potassium hexacyanoferrate is more commonly used. The ~ferrate bit is capable of oxidative cycling, which might not be so good for tryptamines (maybe).

The other admonishment is not to use iodised salt, perhaps because of concerns about elemental iodine forming and reacting with the DMT.

There may be better answers than this, but I'd be better off sleeping at this hour (CET)…
