My jars' necks are slightly narrower than the jars themselves.
Yesterday I tried to get one of the cakes out and had to break it into pieces by sticking a knife in it and scooping it out. It's a mess. Some pieces are relatively large, some are very small and probably useless. Also a lot of bruising.
I have a few jars left. Which would you recommend to proceed to fruiting:
A. Break up the cakes with a knife as above to get it all out
B. Smash the jars with a hammer and hopefully get the cakes out without much damage
C. Leave the cakes in the jars for fruiting?
