thats what i guessed

im not 100% on this, it looks like a ceramic filter but it is a little shinier but that doesnt mean its not the same.

My instinct is that is isnt going to be as good as it will let more heat through and be a little harder to regulate a constant temp, but i think it will still be quite effective with practice.

i think it will pass more heat but its not tested yet.

It definately looks worth £10 (in a good way)
