Chaliponga Extract-further steps?

Good evening to all Nexians!

Im sure many of you good people would have checked out the thread pertaining to Chaliponga and whether or not it contains 5 meo DMT as well as DMT.A friend of mine tried 69rons tek using DCM/citric acid/sodium carbonate and this did result in a product which was active sublingually and the assumption is that the product contains both.I was wondering-do any of the chemistry wizards of the Nexus have any idea how the extract could be further worked upon to separate the 5 meo from the NN DMT?

The simplest way to separate the two is to boil off the DMT. You need accurate heating equipment for that though. Basically you put the two in a tiny flask and heat the flask slowly starting at 100 C. Every minute or so increase the temperature by no more than +5 C until the freebase DMT vaporizes away. You can use a large vapor bag attached to the flask to capture the DMT. Once vapor starts forming, keep the temperature constant until all the vapor is gone.

This works because DMT boils at a lower temperature than 5-MeO-DMT. This also works for separating DMT from bufotenine, and that's much easier to do.

Some others on this forum who love reading research papers all day are going to want "proof" this works because its not "documented" anywhere. Well, I AM DOCUMENTING IT RIGHT NOW. It works. SWIM has done this quite a few times now.

You can do this using a digital vaporizer, the kind that has a vapor bag and an accurate temperature gauge.

If you increase the temperature too quickly you'll vaporize both the DMT and the 5-MeO-DMT away. So increase the temperature slowly, not more than 5 degrees C a minute.
