Changa & Piracetam a safe combo?

Migrated topic.

SWIM is drowning in sadness.

The first dozen or so times he used DMT he was blown away at how fast the onset of the drug was. There were beautiful fractal patterns full of color and beauty. The room seemed to swirl around in
the background as the visuals in the foreground became more and more intense. All of this happened almost instantly after inhaling the first hit. This was all pre breakthrough as well.

After having a couple of VERY intense breakthroughs with this DMT all the beauty of the previous pre breakthrough experiences seemed to just vanish.

SWIM does not overuse DMT at all and even gave it a couple months rest just to see if that would help but to no avail.

Its not that the DMT doesn't work at all. It seems the only way for him to enjoy the experience now is to have a full blown breakthrough using what appears to be a much larger dose than most people. Unfortunately the intensity of these breakthroughs have left SWIM with some pretty major pre flight anxiety.

Changa seemed to be the best bet as it is supposed to be more grounded and less freaky of an experience so he made some.

Everyone who talks of changa expresses how wonderful it is that you can slowly hit the cone to test the waters. Going deeper and deeper as you wish. Only with SWIM it doesn't seem to be the case.

With a 10x cappi at a 1:1 ratio of DMT he loads up his GVG and slowly takes a nice deep hit. He holds the vapor as long as he possibly can but nothing has changed. No visuals...nothing. Another couple nice slow long hits like this and while holding in usually the 3rd toke ....BAM.. breakthrough!

While SWIM agrees the caapi did seem to make the experience grounded and less freaky he's really upset that he has to totally breakthrough or there's no point in smoking it. He really misses the pre visuals and thought it would be fun to experience this with changa without always having to dive right into hyperspace every time.

Somewhere in the forum he read about the drug Piracetam. It's a nootropic drug that is supposed to improve cognition among other neurological problems.
A few Nexians have commented that this drug actually helped them have better experiences with DMT when it seemed it wasn't affecting them as intense anymore.

My question is if this drug Piracetam is safe to take while smoking changa? I know certain drugs are not a safe combination with MAOIs. SWIM always makes sure to look into every aspect of a drug before taking it. After a lot of research it seems people have conflicting answers to this question.

SWIM would just really like some help as to understand what happened to all the beautiful and colorful pre breakthrough visuals he used to love so much. And if this Piracetam may help him get them back. Maybe someone can suggest something else that may help him out also.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and any suggestions are very much appreciated.

Piracetam goes awesome with changa. Make sure you have a choline supplement, or you will be getting splitting headaches.

On the other hand, SWIM hasn't noticed any increase of visual effect in changa from piracetam. Changa has always been more subdued and darker for her than spice. Another thing you might try, extract your caapi harmalas, and take them sublingually and then smoke a different blend, like Electric Sheep.

depends how sensitive you are to piracetam. Once you "learn" how to use it, which took SWIM 2 years, it kinda prevents the dmt from working, causing this kind of confusion/freak-out effect. SWIM tried this with strong ayahuasca and changa, both sent him into panic. However it does produce very unique experience when combined with smaller doses of pharma for SWIM. Piracetam stays active for about 3-5 days for SWIM as well.
