clean a stinky VG

Migrated topic.

Today I've loaded my brand new hand carved VG, so happy. But that wasn't spiced mint, but a mint I was using to experimento with other stinky stuff. I didn't know it was stinky 'til I vaporized, and understood what it happened just some seconds later. It is like the syrup tasters, strong and concentrate. Something disgusting.

Can you guys give me a tip on how to clean it? I thought about vinegar, but it would maybe ruin the wood.

Help?

Love you all,

Alcohol cleans wood well.

If you use alcohol then be prepared to remove some varnish as well. I cleaned my classic VG with both alcohol and acetone and both left some nice white markings behind. Though it's not something I'm worried about, it just shows that this little space ship has been to places 'you people would not believe'. :p

hot water works. warm grain alcohol is also very effective thats what they use to clean old pipes with. you keep recirculating it through the pipe. won't leave anything toxic behind
