Cleaning Base Mix out of Spice-saturated D-limo

Hello everyone, quick question for those experienced with d-limo extraction

This is my 3rd extraction and I'm following a hybrid of the Thick-light and BLAB teks

While pulling the d-limo I mistakenly transferred a tiny amount of miniscule purple/black globules of the base mix into my d-limo collection container.

I used lye, so it's not totally food grade. The tiny amounts of base mix are stuck to the bottom & sides of the jar as tiny clear or purple/black nodules (there is barely enough to see)

Can I clean the d-limo out by doing a 3x water wash, like is instructed for cleaning it of the extra FASI & IPA after precipitating out the fumarate?

Or, what is the best way to clean this? Since it's not in solution, and stuck to the jar, could I just pour the d-limo into another clean jar? Or can I just chill, as the impurities would be removed during the fumarate to freebase conversion?

THANKS!!!

Cool, yeah, that would have solved the problem in this case.

Do you then pour a little fresh solvent through the cotton also?

Seems like you wouldn't want to loose the spice-saturated stuff soaked into the cotton.

Thanks!
