Cleaning jungle spice

I have some jungle that I separated from my STB and FASA pulls.

It was slowly evaporated over a montha to yield some really nice red crystals. However, I am hesitant to try it; one collection dish looks like it has some CaOH residue.

So, should I wash with water and then naptha? I would like to isolate a pure form of the jungle.


Also, what are your experiences with pure jungle?

i honestly have no clue how you would clean jungle spice.....maybe cold ammonia wash?

that looks like some righteous jungle spice though my friend....i would probably imbibe that as is.....beautiful red manna.... what did you pull that with? xylene?

my experience with jungle is wonderful...very "organic", very soulful....pure spirit.....a changa with caapi and something lung-healing like mullein or lavender would be special....

There are two extractions there. One is STB pulled with Xylene then evaporated. I was left with a reddish brown waxy substance which I cleaned of nnDMT with hot naptha.
The other was separated from a d-limonene tek during the freebase stage.

The resultant Xylene was evaporated over the past month+ in my basement in pyrex pans.


What's the dosage of this stuff, 10-15mg? I think putting this on lavender would be great. It has such an amazing smell- it's similar to smoked DMT but it smells more pure.
 
sure .. take a small dish and scrape up all your jungle and add it to it ... make sure its heat resistant ...

dont wash the JS with water, instead wash your naptha with water... then just set the dish on low heat and add naptha... stir ... and repeat ... do this 6-7 times to free it 99+ from regular caoh and regular spice. Let it dry and smoke up . Godspeed and good luck!
 
I'm a little envious to be totally honest.....that jungle spice looks DAMN GOOD!!! you MUST let us all know how it is!! i personally would vape up .02-.025mg .. . ...

I have never tried pure jungle either..I am too in love with the full alkaloid jungly mimosa stuff..I am curious though as to how it differs..
 
screw this! i just put 400ml of boiling xylene in my STB soup that i figured was pretty spent at this point. shook the bejeezus out of it, put it in a heat bath and have been shaking it with purpose every few hours....

gonna let it sit for a week or so then pull it, put it on a shelf in my garage and let it sit for a few weeks....if i can get anything even remotely resembling ismokecrystals righteous js, i'll be STOKED!!

XYLENE eeek :(

somebody were painting some wooden construction with that shit in summer and it`s still reeks of it now

We never use to work with xylene as a chemists. they were acetone, dcm, tolulene, heptane,octane, thf and plenty other solvents but never xylene

Does anybody know any organic reaction which actually asking specificaly for xylene as i never encountered any in my life.
Chemists abandoned this solvent for reason....................it`s shit

ron once stated that he picked d-limo for the mesc extract because it looks so similar to xylene.... I'm wondering, has anybody ever done a side by side with xylene and d-limo to see what jungle goodness each picks up?

Also... i must ask. If you heat your solvent to raise its ability to pick up stuff. Wouldn't you need to keep it hot to ensure that you still have the goods when you pull it off?

i extracted some jungle spice using STB and Xylene as my nonpolar solvent, it looked exactly like yours, but the experience was nothing near as intense as nn-DMT. dosage was in the 50-100mg range. im starting to wonder if i should have cleaned it?...
 
I'm hesitant to try this stuff, I need a break for a while. It's too bad you guys don't live down the street, i'd give it all away for you to try!

Shit dude, haven't you been smelling the buds? That was an invitation to come over!

My dog really wants me to smoke some of this stuff and i might give in after finals.
 
you should try and dissect that shit and see what fractions are psychoactive.

take half of your red and mix it with vinegar, then defat with xylene til the xylene is colorless. (evap that xylene later and poke and prod it, maybe basing it and smoking it)

then base your vinegar and pull with xylene and compare the high/appearance.

and of course steaming naptha to pull the yellow out of it...

red is quite the adventure man!
