Cleaning Klean-Strip for dichloromethane

If one were to clean Klean-Strip Premium Sprayer Stripper (MSDS) a few times with distilled water (everything looks polar besides dcm) and then dried with magnesium sulfate would this be nearly pure dichloromethane?

How pure could you be without distillation?

Also, this Klean-Strip Adhesive Remover (MSDS) has a high concentration of dcm, just not sure how easily one could separate dcm/white spirit.

Hey good question I like the creative thinking.

For Klean-Strip Premium Sprayable Stripper:
Ya I belive you could seperate out all those alcohols from the dcm by simply doing many h2o washes. Only one that worries me is the Ethylene glycol n-butyl ether, which may hang in there with the dcm more than the others but it should still be able to be pulled with water. I bet if you did 10 washes you would end up with only trace amounts of alcohol and dcm. ;)

That Adhesive Remover on the other hand would probably need to be distilled for dcm. Its actually really easy btw. Just drill a hole in the cap and stick in a bent 1ft peice of metal tubing coming out slanting down over a glass, and mildly heat the metal container. DCM has a low enough bp that air is enough to cool the tubing and it simply drips into the glass in liquid form. Theres a good youtube vid about it. Always practice safe lab techniques if you try this!
