Hello,
Spice pulled by FASIPA and limo, can you just wash in acetone to remove excess fumaric acid, and to leave spice/fumarate?
Also does the limo smell go, as it seems to be a long lasting smell.

Many thnks

Many just so an IPA or acetone wash, but this alone isn't sufficient for removing residual solvent or even the most effective way of removing fumaric acid. It does, however, remove residual limonene, but this seems a bit pointless, using a poison to remove a nontoxic chemical. The most effective way to purify is this. Simply dissolving all the fumarate in water and decanting it off of the undissolved fumaric acid (not very polar, so not incredibly soluble in water) and evaporating.

thanks i will go with the water!
What is a good water to spice furmate, ratio? also should heat be applied?

A good way to gauge the amount of water is by the color: Add some stir it, decant, and continue to add more until coloration is not observed. No heat.

In addition to this, it states in the link amor_fati provided..."12ml H2O per gram of material".

And yeah, no heat is necessary.
