Consciousness transformation through meditation

Migrated topic.

Well, I'm not sure if this really qualifies as art as I'm not an artist, but I didn't find a more appropriate category to place this into. I enjoy drawing every once in a while, more and more often since I've been introduced to psychedelics.

These drawings were inspired by a vision I had while on a low dose of mushrooms 2 weekends ago, for which I'm extremely grateful because through it, I've been shown how to truly be free. I was shown - even though this lasted just for a moment - that the nirvana state is more real and more different than I could have ever expected. Through this experience, I also learned later on (a week or so), how to successfully astral project; I wanted to do this for a long time, and now that I've done it, I remember that this is what I experienced multiple times in my life, but was always scared and woke up when it happened. I only took my baby steps, but this is a great improvement for me and I'm looking forward to future journeys.

Let me know what you think. Cheers!

Thanks for posting this! I enjoy your depiction of your experience. It reminds me of someone having thier crown chakra opened up--I've experienced this through Kundalini yoga on several occasions, however I find then when on mushrooms I can now access this state almost effortlessly (while meditating, dancing, etc).

I'd be curious to hear more about your astral projection experience, and what specifically that entailed for you.

Thank you. Yeah, that sounds about right...given the period of total calmness that followed. I moved into complete darkness after the vision and I had the most amazing minutes of my life. As I sat in my kitchen, in total darkness and smoking a blunt, I literally felt like my consciousness was expanding outside my brain and enveloping my whole body. I was aware of every little thing that ever happened to me, yet I was totally calm and at ease. I was not feeling angry, or anxious, or anything. I just was. And it was amazing. Right then I knew what this was all about.
