Couldn't get my usual naphtha so bought this 7/11 brand and it smells strangely like gasoline.

The ingredients claim that it is naphtha. After pouring into my jar, I noticed that it smelled very different than what I'm used to. It has a very strong gasoline smell.
Has anyone used this 7/11 brand 'naphtha' before and experienced this? If so, did you just toss it or did u actually end up using the final extraction?

Does it have a 'cas-nr'? You can look up the exact properties of the fluid with a cas-nr.
Did you do an evaporate test? (put a few drops on a very clean piece of glass, let it evaporate, if any residue appears, thats not good)
The 'Cancer and reproductive harm' warnings are worrying... It makes me believe it has aromatic hydrocarbons (rings) included, like benzene, which are pretty dangerous. Try to find naphtha that has only straight hydrocarbons
