Court test and color code?

Hey guys,
Just a curious question for a friend if mine.
He recently got out on "color code" where they can call him in at any time
And urine test him for "drugs"..

Does anyone here know if dmt is tested??
I'm just curious cause it is vaped, and if they can, how long would it be In his urine?
Just a friend who lost his way, and insist on going traveling.
Thought I would get you guys opinion first.

Sorry to hear that. Erowid Drug Testing Vaults : The Basics has a lot of very useful information, and from what I can glean from that page, marijuana is the most common, and psychedelics are the least common to test for.

I knew some people who had to do this because they were caught high or in possession or something. So instead of smoking weed they just ate shrooms and were fine!

Anyway I would think that DMT is cycled out of the body very quickly, since we can metabolize it so well. The duration is so short, and it exists naturally, so I would be surprised if it could really be detected for over an hour after the experience. Aya might be different however; I am not sure how MAOIs are handled.

Also, I may be mistaken, but don't we have DMT in our urine naturally? Would they just be testing for excess levels?

No tryptamines are tested in any of the 5 or 10 panel drug tests. Neither are harmalas. So, you friend doesn't have to worry. The drugs typically tested in a 5 panel are amphetamines (meth, mdma/mda, adderol), opiates, cannabis, phencyclidine, benzodiazapines (sometimes), and cocaine. They also sometimes gave me an alcohol test. That's why i went to jail when I turned 21. Lol!

Since n,N-Dimethyltryptamine in endogenously produced it technically can be in the urine of any human at any time regaurdless if that human had used DMT or not. So if they ever did manage to find DMT in your urine they would have no way to diferantiate exogenous DMT from endogenous DMT, right?

DMT is going to be a tricky compound as far as drug tests go.

And no, DMT is not detected by drug test. At least in my area.

As coca leaves contain cocaine I'm sure that it could be possible to fail a drug test for cocaine from chewing on coca leaves, though I do not know from any personal experiance.

I thought leaves contain only alkaloids precursor for cocaine but you're right, there is cocaine in it so my question was stupid ;

Sometime, i drink coca leaves tea (really good before surfing :thumb_up: ) so i have to pray to not get random tested while driving.

DMT is metabolized so fast and completely that unless you got called in IMMEDIATELY after coming back from Hyperspace, I don't think you'd be in any real danger.

That said, if it were me and I were on prohibition, I wouldn't be taking anything at all. It's not worth the risk, imo.

Ha, I'm pretty sure you could provide a sample WHILE your in hyperspace and there wouldn't be a test that could catch it.
