This paper should be very relevant: A Revised Medium for Rapid Growth and Bio Assays with Tobacco Tissue Cultures, Murashige & Skoog (1962). It can be found here http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/119762126/abstract . If somebody has access to it, I'd really like to read it.
