For anyone interested, There's a great book by the famous oddball director David Lynch that i feel DMT users will love.
David Lynch was the creator of the cult classic Twin peaks and also directed a bunch of cult classic films such as Eraser head and moholland drive.
His book is called " Catching the big fish " , It's basically a book containing a short autobiography of his film career, But it's main purpose is discussing Lynch's love for transendental mediation.
Lynch's description of the realm he accesses via transendental meditation reminds me heavily of the DMT realm.
He describes his mediation realm as being an invisible energy filled place with infinite momentum and passion and creativity that's there waiting for us to access it whenever we want.
One reason why I'm mentioning the book is not only because i feel DMT users will enjoy and relate to it, But also because Lynch describes what a positive effect mediation has had on his personal and professional life as an artist.
He also talks about the infamous film version of Dune that he made ( The book version of Dune seems to be quite popular amongst DMT users ) .
The spice must flow indeed.
Oh and with the book, I very much enjoyed it after first reading it, It inspired me to try meditation but unfortunately at the time it just wouldn't work for me. - But after i tried DMT for the first time, I remembered the book and fell in love with it even more.
And strangely enough, David Lynch himself claims to be a completely drug free person, Which is strange because his description of where his mind goes while mediating is quite similar to a lot of experiences I've had during DMT trips.
But anyways, It's a great book by a great Artist. Check it out if you get the chance
