Death or global assension? Intigration questions.

Migrated topic.

My friends girlfriend often has very deep transpersonal expereinces with all psychedelics.
She has experience of healing deep family/ species karma with local mushrooms taken in sacred space.

Her first full DMT experience bought her to a position where she could "choose to go with them" or return to earth.
She described it as a wonderful place beyond all imagination that was the most beautiful thing she has ever seen. She came back to the room proclaiming that she had nearly died.

Although she "chose" to return to earth she said that this was her only choice, her work here was not done.

She described that she almost saw through the "illusion" but that if she had of done she could not have returned and that she had a feeling that she didn't know what would have happened to all of "us" left behind, some fundamental change in reality would have occurred.

She said the her love of my friend was what pulled her to return, she was hinting that we are all one and that the separation is illusion, therefore only in this illusion she can experience the love between her and her partner, beyond the illusion they are not separate... you see?

She theorised that she witnessed a premonition of global human ascension or the idea that some people will die and some will ascend is just a difference in perception of this experience.

She was worried that this was her only chance to reside in the beautiful place beyond.

Can you people shine any light of love onto her experience and help her/ us with the integration?

Hello Biskotso,

first of all, just because you (you as in someone in general) experience something doesn't mean that it is literally so, translatable to physical reality in the sense of leaving or dying or ascending. The meaning could be different, if there is any meaning at all. I suspect that our consciousness is anything but understood and there may be myriads of modes of it, and these experiences may pertain to modes that have only a faint resemblance to our day-to-day life as we perceive it. We give the experiences images and interpret them, like we do with dreams, but perhaps these interpretations and images are not really applicable to the actual processes going on.

Instead of searching for a literal understanding of these images I would suggest just exploring the feelings in a more amorphous manner, without connecting it to something as physical as death.

Who knows though. Ascension or evolution of humanity may happen. There's no way to know for sure until it does, and even then, maybe we won't notice. People like Ken Wilber or the people of spiral dynamics speak of different levels of consciousness, old ones already surpassed, and new ones just emerging. It's hard to say if a sudden change can occur, or if it is a slow processes with much effort put into education and informing others, in developing better communication and transparency and more sustainable systems of value etc.

Anyway, integration can take place on many levels. Try to explore as many as you can think of. From Jungian psychology to esoteric really out-there ideas... they can all give you something. My only advice is, don't get too focused on ONE TRUTH. IME it's all way too much in motion to be fixed to one ultimate explanation.

cheers!

Well said Enoon. I'd like to add that my friends both feel that there is no point from which an absolute truth can be observed. Truth is perhpas transient by nature.
I like the concept of exploring the feelings involved in these experiences rather than the specific content, or perhaps a healthy holistic approach with both in moderation.
I feel a lot of subconscious work gets done in these states and perhaps it's not the place of our physical/ earthly/ concious mind to try and wrap round it. "Have Faith."

I'm not sure what she's worried about. If she "ascends", becomes one, time stops and the universe ceases to exist; she's God and anything is possible! I've been there. You can stay there as long as you want or recreate the universe however you want. If you have purpose and/or a reason to be here and live this life (and we all do!) you will come back.

With DMT we can experience the infinite in a flash!

Maybe I over played her "concern." She's perfectly happy.
I think these experiences have great power to uproot our fundamental beliefs and world views which we take for granted.
This can be a very positive and progressive function if we allow it to be, but in the moment can be quite shattering, that's all.
Blessed are the adventurers!
