Ahh welcome, a great introduction, quite refreshing to read. Everyday it seems, more people join the Nexus with stories of how the psychedelics have helped them. I know little of Schizophrenia, but a friend of mine has it, as does a cousin. My friend smokes weed in order to maintain it and has expressed interest in Ayahuasca, though I've never been sure whether it's a good idea, I reckon a controlled environment could do little harm.
It is thought that Schizophrenics are naturally skilled psychedelic fishermen . Indeed they can help tidy up and organise the contents of our minds and I think when they are organised enough, that is when ideas can be found, problems solved and everything else the Shaman aims for.
Hope to read more from you soon & I'll see ya around
Welcome Lunaria! That took a lot of guts to make an introduction like that.
I don't know you but I'm not so sure you should apply a self-diagnosis like schizophrenia so easily. It sounds to me like you're just fine but are looking for ways to feel more comfortable with yourself just like everyone else and have had success integrating parts of your personality that may not be socially acceptable yet. You shouldn't have to feel guilty about anything.
Psychedelics can be wonderful medicine to connect to a deeper part of yourself which helps to integrate any conflict happening on the personality level. I know it has done wonders in my own personal growth.
