Hi HerCule :)

I don't know what you originally posted, I don't know if you will ever read this, but I know you are a human. :)

I know that somewhere out there, there is a human who chose the name HerCule here at the DMT-NEXUS, a human like me. :)

I don't know what that human is doing or feeling right now, but I hope that human is healthy and happy and enjoying life. :)

That or you're just working on your post count. HerCule posted once, on November 08. I think they've moved on... :?

Wow. You posted a reply to an empty box. Would be that the forum equivalent of talking to yourself?

Right on Ya, I dont see why someone would or should doubt your motivation. I felt the love.

and come on,... In a post showing love, why would you disrespect the poster by assuming his intention is post count?

LOL - the title of the thread is even called 'deleted'. The user hasn't even visited since 11.11.

If you have that much love to share, do it! I'm not here to stop anyone or disrespeck them, nodimsayin'?. :)

It doesnt have so much to do with when this user visited last or the name of the thread,...it was still up, maybe for Ya to respond :)....
it just felt you wrote negative in response to Ya and all he was doing just being positive, regardless of the assumptions you wanna put on top of why he made the post. Nothing against you ghost, maybe the spice has just got swim sensitive ;)

When someone posts an introductory essay, or a first experience report, I think they are hoping to receive at least ONE kind reply.

Recently I noticed there were some cases where some people sadly didn't receive any reply, so I decided to give some belated replies.

This case here with HerCule's post seemed extra sad to me. Did our lack of reply cause the person to become sad and erase their post?

Could our simple lack of reply have led to a downward spiral of emotions which eventually could have led the person to feel unwanted?

Is it possible the simple act of replying to people's first posts can help decrease suicide chances, and being kind simply feels good?

Perhaps Hercule has been considering suicide since November 11th, and was just about to... when suddenly she notices a belated reply!

So my motivation and intention here was and is good, I laugh inside to hear someone say that was a mere desire to increase post count.

But at the same time, to make the action truly altruistic I should have done it anonymously, the best kind of giving is anonymously. :)

Definitely a mad stoner here.

Here's what happens: The user makes a post. The user decides after a while he does not want the post posted. The user edits his post and erases all text. The user realises that it's dumb to just leave an aimless deleted post. The user goes back to edit the title of the post to "deleted" so that people do not get confused by empty post. Result: Ghost Post.

indeed, watson.

That's the longest thread I've ever seen about an empty post :D

And yeah lets get emotional
:) :d   :? :(    😉 :x

I approve very highly of you Ya, I love your attitude. I wanted to say that the first time I posted but thought it'd look wet!

I think it was a nice thing to do to post a reply, especially because what you said was funny and meaningful at the same time. I've gone through the introductory essays a few times and said hello to all the ones I've found that have the least replies, but I haven't taken the time to be funny or meaningful too. So, well done you.

Ya are you a rastafarian? I'm guessing you're from the UK? And is that you in your photo?! If you don't mind me asking, no need to answer if you do. Nice to meet you anyway.

And hey, Hercule, come back, I want to know what you wrote now! :)
