Greetings. New to this site but I already feel a good vibe coming from the members. Never had a DMT experience but always wanted to. Read the synth guides on Erowid a year or 2 ago but was a little overwhelming for one with no chemistry experience and it took a back seat to other creation projects. LSD and Ketamine wells dried up, time for another trip to my home in hyperspace and DMT seems like the only the way to travel. Found the Nexus, signed up, learned a lot about extractions in simpler terms from real people asking questions and.. well lets say I think have a good travel agent now.

I think the best way to travel starts with the mind, so every trip I've went on I go in with a certain mindset of achieving the unknown. I've been on this journey for quite a few years now and have seen some things that words can't describe, met other beings, and met different versions of myself. One time there was this LSD journey.. Laying in bed, headphones on, lights off and a cool breeze from the ceiling fan. Off on the trip. First stop was a concert. There were 5 people standing outside the field where it took place, giant construction style walls were between the people and the concert, but they could hear the music in the air. Led Zeppelin was playing. They were having a really great conversation - stuff 5 best friends would talk about if they were from different dimensions. The actor portraying myself was very into it, but told the others, "Man, this song is great but I really wish they would play ____." Can't remember but the first instinct was "No Quarter." Whatever song it was it doesn't matter because one of the people said something very profound. They said, "Just tell him to play it." After some q&a back and forth like "how can I get Led Zeppelin to play this, do they take requests" and a lot more - the eyes opened up and the realization happened. Looked around the room, looked at the Creative Zen mp3 player and put on the song desired to hear. It was pretty mindblowing that this world was inside the mind and these conversations are with yourself (or other beings connected at the time, who knows). They can be controlled and there is an answer to every question. After that, new bands brought the soul to different worlds. At the peak of the trip, with Perfect Circle on the headphones - soul went to hyperspace and was finally one with everything.

That trip was a good one. Brought new ideas and realizations focusing on music. People can create anything as long as their head is in the right place. Now I play in a band that hopes the music will take others with the same mindset to new worlds and new ideas.

Since then, there's dozens of other trips in different vehicles like ketamine, salvia, and shrooms that continue the journey and take the soul deeper. The salvia people are good folks, that mine cart to the Hall oF Energy in K-land is good in the summers, and Van Gogh and some grass is breezy in Shroomtown. They're all great inspiration for the waking life and the creation processes in art. Inspired the body to take trips like the soul did - Amsterdam, Spain, Paris, Tokyo, Kyoto, the woods, the ocean, a mountain. All in all, not necessarily saying the substances made these things happen but definitely believe that they are that little push one needs to see things without the veil on. Once a person takes off the veil and puts on some shades, the right decisions are a little more obvious.

Anyway, went to the chat and was encouraged to write this essay so there it is. Its good to know that there are fellow travelers out there and its great that there's a place like the nexus to not only talk about DMT and the like, but have other conversations about art, philosophy, music and laughs with people that "get it" (BTW Checked out Agharta from the music thread and WOW that is amazing). So this is Elicius - traveler, creator, student of the game, and its a pleasure to be here.
