I know in the world of Detoxing, Removing waste from our Bodies, most if not all methods are, well for lack of words, not scientifically proven

But I was wondering if we could join our Knowledge on healthy 'Ways' to remove toxins from our bodies
and our Organs
ESPECIALLY those Toxins which are hardest to remove once inside
Like Good Old fluoride

I have been traveling South America now and finding all sorts of alternatives to cleanse.

Here they drink a thing called 'Aromatica'
Simply herbs brewed in water to a tea, I Love this idea
anything really,
um lemon grass is great for flavour
a flower they call calendula' MariGold in English
chamomile flower
cinnamon
pretty much all types of mint

you can put a little honey if you like, or a piece of fruit in-it pear apple

or this stuff they use I Love it Panela, pretty much just very, very raw sugar

but I like it straight

Also I was reading of the AmAzzing benefits of coriander Tea

Red Clover is supposed to be very good in sensible doses.

Myself I Fast now each month, well nearly each month.
for 24 hours only water.
mental preparation seems to be all my body needs now to expect it.
and eating less the day before the fast, and not too much the day after the fast.

not too much sugar.

the first few times I fasted, by eating only vegetables and fruit.
lots of water.
Fasting can be difficult, but the body gets used to it fast, and always I feel superb after.

Its best if to practice Fasting, to do regularly, say choose a day to do regularly.
I find mental preparation is best.

and LISTEN to your BODY, if you really have to Eat, Then Eat something, preferably something small and healthy.

its weird even after not eating, only drinking water, during the day my urine is clear, but the next day after fasting and waking up my urine is orange again.
shows how much stored minerals and stuffs the body holds onto.

theres lots of info. on fasting on the web, and in books. Do Research!

i had a case of candida, between my leg all i applied was calendula extract. Marigold extract.and lots of water, cut back the sugar including high sugar fruits and it'll go away

Also read how urine therapy can help highlight problem areas in the body and help the body target for faster healing.
something like the urine has. Like DNA information of all the cells of the body

Nice thread, I like it. I'm interested because I'm going to see a functional medicine gut specialist next week because of some horrible symptoms I'm having. I reckon I might have small intestinal bacterial overgrowth or candida, I don't know but something isn't right and it's creating a whole host of symptoms that you just wouldn't believe could be linked to the gut (that is assuming I do have a gut issue). So thanks for this thread, some good tips and herbs that I can try :)

Living healthily is something I'm not taking for granted anymore, I really do want heal my body. After years of eating junk food and heap loads of sugar, it's a long journey, but I'm praying I can get better.

I would like to add that cutting down on carbohydrates and sugar, and drinking lots of water has been hugely beneficial for me.

Rebounding: A fun, proven form of exercise!

I recently bought a mini trampoline and have been rebounding every day. I can feel it speed up the detoxification process I was already going through. Even though I just started bouncing, I have more energy and am sleeping better. Plus it's fun! I put on some goa trance (which matches up nicely to the bouncing) and jump away. I love it!8)

If you do any form of exercise, be sure to drink a lot of water and get enough fiber so you get those toxins out of your body after loosening them up. I simple, healthy diet with lots of raw greens will be so beneficial.

There is a difference between 'gentle detoxing' and 'fast detoxing', both of which are helpful towards health. I find Capsicum to be quite detoxifying, invigorating and energizing. Though, this is a fast detox and can cause loose bowels, but it also induces sweating and pulls toxins in the body out quite rapidly. Exercise is good, too. Strategies that induces sweating and increased heartbeat is naturally good for the body.

You can also gently pull toxins out with herbs, teas, greens, spices etc. Another point to make sure of is that your body pH is somewhat alkaline or 'balanced'. This aids in the detox process. Acidic environments feed off toxins such as pollution, radiation, 'junk'-food, smoking, poor hygiene etc. Also, (already mentioned above) Bentonite Clay is very useful for detoxification. Internally and externally but mostly externally. There is much more to it (being an ancient earth substance) than just detoxing such as balanced BP, healthy pH, aids in digestion, clears away acne, gout and even pain.

You may want to think about adding a potent probiotic supplement or drinking plenty of kefir and eating cultured foods as well as be trying to avoid sugars and complex carbs which feed candida.
