Different ratios to 1:1?

I wondered what are some nice ratios/blends that you guys have played about with?

1:1 is of course potent and good enough by itself, but at times i didn't like loading up such a small amount each time, i'd rather take a nice chunky pinch for each bowl.

So i redissolved my 1:1 into a 1:3 (1g spice:3g caapi leaf), this way i can just take a nice 2 finger pinch & it is roughly 50-70mg DMT that i can burn slow at first then finish off to breakthrough, i really like this ratio but it has me curious about improving it further.

Personaly ive never been a fan of anything less than 1:1. I know we have a few members that like it a bit weaker.
All depends on how you want to get there, I find that my 1:1 is perfect for me, a few 50mg hits and then things start getting interesting.
I also dont like the smell that combusting changa lets off. Everytime I smoalk it from my bong I make sure that I dont load up more than one hit. This way I pull it at a steady pace and get all the smoke in(no smoke leaves the bowl), no funky changa smell left over:)

Also id like to mention, if one ever did make a blend that they found to be too much and wanted a weaker one, instead of re-infusing it, you could just add some normal leaf to the changa in the ratio you want, give it a mix and you are good to go.

Second, accidentally made weaker batches and had nothing but frustration with them. Just cut any time you want something weaker.

I know exactly what you mean. Last night I had an interesting evening. I smoked Changa for the better part of two hours, alone at the computer. I'd smoke a few big bong hits of straight up 10x caapi and then I'd vape some 1:1 changa in my GVG.

I decided I'm not using my GVG for changa any more it gets too filthy. so I laid down a good pinch of straight Caapi into the bong put a little 1:1 on it and a teeny bit more straight changa on that. Now I had a nice beefy bong hit like I like to take.

Sorry this reply was a bit long winded, but my point is, keep your 1:1 and just put your dose on a bed of caapi or ? and go with that. You have the ratio right you know the dosage. IMHO mixing in more caapi leaf without going through the whole infusion process can result in inconsistancies in dosing.

Good luck

I think doing it that way with a large-ish amount could lead to some suprises...

I find a 1:3 with powdered caapi leaf is a fine mix as you can still finish off 50mg DMT with a couple big inhales, 200mg of blend/material isn't so much that you'd have trouble finishing it off when its powdered caapi, plus extra MAOI's from the extra leaf ;)

TBH the only difference i have noticed is i now take a big easy to handle pinch rather than a small fiddly one

I received my arc today at last and can't wait to give it a test run :)

Chronic, do you use 10 or 20x caapi leaf? If SWIM takes in too much harmalas with this, she begins to get a headache, which is one reason for her to keep the standard ratio.

So far i've just used plain caapi leaf, but there's 3g of capai leaf to 1g DMT, i haven't ever got a headache from spice but a friend of mine has.

I'm making some caapi extract at the moment but to be honest i don't think ill end up using it, in the new year im getting a GVG and planning to only vape pure DMT.

I had a bit more of my changa, its nice but tbh i don't think that i could tell the difference between this & plain spice, i don't think it extends the experience that much as it still ends very quickly, when i was on mushrooms i had to take HUGE sucessive tokes of plain capai leaf to feel anything, and the feeling only lasted a few seconds so i don't think a normal capai leaf changa makes that much difference, maybe a 10x will.

When a 20-30%/1:4-1:2 ratio is used, you can add more herbs and their various qualities and flavours and effects will come out in the Changa blend. Aldo, it can be nice to roll this up in a joint as well!

Also, 1:1 Changa is clearly only really effective for breakthrough. You can still breakthrough with a cone of 25% because there is more caapi in it.

The beauty of Changa is what it can offer in the sub-breakthrough realm, areas not easily attained with crystal DMT. (you just don't breakthrough if you don't smoke enough) It takes the caapi to bring it back into the body and facilitate a relevant experience.

Interesting to note on this forum, how low people are typically dosing in their pharma brews (compared to people that I know and how they dose), but how high they are dosing in their changa preparations!

With this sub-breakthrough dose, you are still in your body, experiencing a visionary state. Sometimes it can be nice just to experience the feeling and take a tiny puff.

Less is often more.
