Migrated topic.

...perhaps it's unworthy for starting a new thread, but we got sick and tired of buying stuff, and then ruining a pair of scissors cutting it to size...and in the end being also stung in the thumb.. :d

...obviously this is not intended for the volcano vaporizer...

So this is what we do: finding 0.010mm or 0.020mm uncoated pure copper wire, unwind about 3 x our body lenghth, and then slowly, slowly rolling it in a chaotic pattern into a ball...compressing it more and more. Finally it can be hammered into something round of the desired diameter....

edit: yes, flame it with a torch for some time prior to first use ! There is always some oil on it to stop oxidation and make it look shiny. Burn it off. Avoid any laquered copper wire !!!

This seems really thin. Are you sure you're not off by a decimal point or maybe you mean inches instead of mm?

I would make shure there is no toxic coatings on the spool copper..or atleast preheat it to burn off any coatings..
I use volcano pads and i think they are stainless steel..

I tried vaping with a volcano pad in a cylindrical glass stem and had a terrible reaction in terms of difficultly in breathing to the point of very closely calling a ambulance , never again will I use one unless it burnt cleanly , but thinking it was stainless steal and made for this type of thing it would've been safe , boy I was wrong !!
