dmt and large amounts of mucus and pressure

hello
it has been a long time since I have posted here.
recently I decided to do an extraction after about a year break.
I had taken the break because dmt had stopped working.
it not only stopped working, it would cause a very large amount of mucus to instantly form in the forhead region.
as soon as this would happen, the visuals would go black.
naturally I thought I was doing it a bit too much so I stopped.
well, my extraction went extremely well. I ended up with 12 g's of pure white spice.
so I tried it.
and it happened.
my head filled up with mucus, and the visuals went black.
anyone know about this or had this experience?
I really wish this would stop happening.
I miss hyperspace.

DMT can have odd physical effects on different people. My best advice would be take a break, smoke less, change your smoking method (are you burning it?), or don't smoke and administer via another method (like oral with harmalas or otherwise). Scaling up slowly in dosage might allow you to find a threshold where you experience psychoactive effects without somatic events. It sounds like you are confident in the purity of your product, but that is also something to think about.

Hypernoid, is it possible the mucus was already there waiting and the spice making it less viscous and come out?

I've found out my lungs clear out quite well with any kind of ROA, and David Barlow made a tek vid where he says helping with chest infections.

It's not already there. And it doesn't eject. What happens is all the sudden I see closed eyes visuals, them seconds later I feel this pressure in my frontal lobe and it fills up with mucus. It takes days for the mucus to come out. I just don't see how much could stop visuals but it seems it does. As soon as the mucus explosion happens, the visuals go black. There was a time when it happened so severe that it felt like my brain was leaking. It felt like rain behind my skull. I Took a full year break. My slice is pure as snow.everuone who tried it says it's the best they've had. I don't think I'm burning it... I remember smoking off a can years ago on ashes and still had breakthroughs. It's just awful. I miss hyperspace. I've searched and searched and I haven't found a single person who's had this happen .

Have you considered the possibility of an underlying medical condition that is causing these symptoms?

Have you tried ayahuasca or pharmahuasca?

Abstract
N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) is an indole alkaloid widely found in plants and animals. It is best known for producing brief and intense psychedelic effects when ingested. Increasing evidence suggests that endogenous DMT plays important roles for a number of processes in the periphery and central nervous system, and may act as a neurotransmitter. This paper reviews the current literature of both the recreational use of DMT and its potential roles as an endogenous neurotransmitter. Pharmacokinetics, mechanisms of action in the periphery and central nervous system, clinical uses and adverse effects are also reviewed. DMT appears to have limited neurotoxicity and other adverse effects except for intense cardiovascular effects when administered intravenously in large doses. Because of its role in nervous system signaling, DMT may be a useful experimental tool in exploring how the brain works, and may also be a useful clinical tool for treatment of anxiety and psychosis.
