DMT and others..

Migrated topic.

Rising Star
This is a thread to talk about DMT and its most noticeable effects on SWIM.
Also I would like to talk about Synthetic Cannabinoids and their effects as well.

Every DMT blast-through experience for SWIM has come on in the same sort of fashion.
SWIM is sitting down in the dark with his pipe loaded and ready to go, but just before
SWIM flicks the lighter he has high pre-trip anxiety. It's almost as if he is having a
slight panic attack. SWIM then meditates and blocks out all his thoughts completely...
upon doing so he feels he is ready and flicks the lighter, taking that first hit.
Almost every time he takes the first hit he has a feeling like he wont return, but almost
immediately after he feels a shift in the room almost as if someone flicks a switch..
only to find himself instead of being afraid of whats to come, actually (like clock-work)
trying to step through the barrier into hyperspace. After the second hit takes place,
SWIM finds himself in some sort of bubble or space travel device with what looks like a
thousand eyes staring at you.. then SWIM looks down to his pipe and the way it looks
is seemingly impossible to describe, and the only way he can describe it is that its
almost as if your looking at it through sometype of warp hole... the way its stretched
out in front of you and the flame seems to just flow right through it. After all this
craziness SWIM takes one last hit and the flame travels through him (as so it seems)
and he finds himself being pulled or pushed in a way to where he falls on his back
(always on his back) with just enough time to position himself for the ride... once
he finds himself comfortable it feels as though he is being glued or sewn in place,
and then like a fully surrounding projection he is blasted through the barrier
always to find himself "free-floating" or like a bug on the wall (observing) in this
other world/dimension, filled with colors and entities (sometimes very human like)...
and SWIM always keeps close to one thing human about him, such as breath or swallowing.
This allows him to alter events in the other world once a breath or swallow is carried out.
SWIM also thought he should mention that when he comes back he is in a state of extreme
euphoria and his vision vibrates rapidly even sometimes feels like he is being jerked
around by a higher force.

That is whats DMT is always like for SWIM.
Now I'll mention some of the side effects SWIM has told me about certain synthetic cannabinoids.

Almost always in a state of semi-extreme paranoia, almost schizophrenic like.
Hears music that isn't playing or noises that do not exist.
Hallucinates shadows or reflections of people (It's really just mind playing tricks on you).
Possible black-outs or feelings of "skipping" through time.
Possible lucid-like dreams (like one where I opened my third eye and could see my room).
Tracers in vision, such as odd shapes or symbols.
Feeling of someone observing you as if your an experiment.
Shivers down your body followed by seemingly uncontrollable shaking.
Intensified perception of reality, such as everything looks like a 3d video game.
Intensified senses, dark places are alot lighter, music is louder/other noises.
Manipulation of reality, such as viewing the world upside down or sideways for a short period of time.
Manipulation of objects in ones view, such as the shape of a guitar.
Dry mouth, bloodshot eyes, more focus, sleeplessness, possibly changes in mood and even voice.
At high doses sometimes get the feeling of being threated from others around you.

I hope this thread will help others to fully understand possible and even normal effects from
either of these substances.

I like dmt in the dark, pitch black in complete silence means no distractions, just me and dmt. Travel very very far this way. The rest like the anxiety and that is pretty normal though.

SWIM tried it with full lighting, dim lighting, and pitch blackness.
Out of the three SWIM prefers the pitch blackness, because you can have you eyes open or closed and still travel far.
In the full lighting setting SWIM couldn't break through. He kept having feelings of paranoia with all that light around him.
In the dim setting it was like he was blasted through but could somewhat manipulate what he saw due to the fact that it
still felt like SWIM had a part of him left behind on earth.

EDIT: By the way Ewok love the the sig, I also enjoyed his bit on acid about how a news reporter should just come on the air
and be like "Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all
one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is just a dream, and we are the
imagination of ourselves...Here's Tom with the weather!"

Bill Hicks sure had some good stuff to say. The young man on acid quote is one of my favorites of his, gotta love tool for introducing me to him.
