someone on reddit posted recently about having encounters not with entities but with a dead relative on several occasions.
my experience so far has been entirely alien or orthogonal to matters of this world.
but it makes me more curious about an experiment that I'm not sure about...
a few weeks ago we decided it was the perfect time to go for a walk in the forest. we parted ways and quickly I was interrupted by a fantail (small native bird) doing circles closely around me like in some Disney film. I tried to offer a slice of mandarin but it didn't want food. I went on my way after a bit, not sure what was going on.
About an hour later my friend texted me saying there were a bunch of cops at the car park. it turns out that just a few hundred meters from where the bird stopped me someone the previous night had gone into a dense part of the forest I'd clambered through only a month ago, a part no one goes through, impenetrable, and hanged themselves there. my friend saw a car arrive and a lady with kids get out and run crying to where she was told he was.
I knew roughly the area, the friend had overheard them mentioned a color (some of the trees had that color spray painted on them), but I didn't know where exactly.
The other day I found the path they'd made clearing through that area and flowers in memorial on one particular tree.
You know where I'm going with this.
Do I take the spice there and see if it's of some value?
If you can contact people, and if he wishes he could say something to console his grieving family (who undoubtedly would never think attempting such a thing could be possible and have no hope of hearing from him), then maybe I can give him that opportunity.
Would that be wrong somehow?
Have any of you taken it at a funeral or a graveyard or in proximity to death before?
