DMT & ART

Migrated topic.

DocAdams

One existence
I have dyslexia and have found strength in my weaknesses. For example; I have always been drawn to patterns and formulated that into a personal abstract ink style.

My question is... Whenever I'm blessed enough to come across DMT, have any of you experienced any influences in your art after taking DMT?

Respectfully,
Human

DMT is practically my pure inspiration for creating art. I never did so on my free time until DMT compelled me to. Love the artwork by the way. You should look into making a gallery.

VERY nice work!

and yes, psychedelics in general are inspirational. I know I can't get it on paper in a literal sense, just a nod pointing in an inward direction.

I think almost all artists would say that their work changed (for the better) after their first strong psychedelic experience.

Nice stuff! I'm not an artist, but I do play music and DMT has definitely inspired my songwriting and enhanced my creativity.

Amazing drawings!

I've never really been good at physical art but i am a photographer and when i got interested in psychedelics i know i added a few new forms of photography to my skills list. And my entire taste in art in general definitely openned up as well.

Thank you for the very nice things you had to say. I'm so excited to see where my art will take me after I experience hyperspace.

I really like your style. It is so clear and steady-handed, it reminds me of Escher. A couple of those are like kaleidoscopic-Escher! It already has elements of hyperspacial influence, so I can't wait to see what you might come up with after you have dipped your toes in the psychedelic ocean.

Mushrooms (very similar to DMT) are the reason I found art again. I can draw without psychedelics, but they seem to provide the inspiration, motivation, and some serious firepower to my art. There's a reason so many musicians and artists use psychedelics!

This is just amazing! I love it! What tools and methods did you use and how much time do you spend on a piece of such great detail?

Thank you so much. I'm sure most people can relate but complements make me a little uncomfortable, but nun the less thank you so much.

I use a ink pin brand called Micron and I use the smalist tip .005. And just a paper canvas. All free hand.
I just get into a zone and start in the middle of the paper and work out. It takes me total time of multiple days worth...10-20 hours depending on the size.

These really are some cool pieces. Based on your artwork alone, I would have guessed you'd already experienced psychedelia!

Haha, maybe something's wrong with me.

Great work! To me, it has this very Tribal type of flavor. Like it could be ancient hieroglyphs on a temple wall or something.

Interested to see how psychedelics will influence your work.

Keep it up:thumb_up:
