I wonder if this was another botched methlab bust. AFAIK most extraction busts come from misidentified methlabs.

Hopefully SWIMMERS can phase out NaOH use with the emergence of new methods. Acetone is also a meth cooking reagent (so don't let your neighbors see you bring it inside) but it is much less scritinized than NaOH.
