DMT Containing Plants in India [Megathread] - massive information dump

Migrated topic.

Introduction

This is an overview of all the DMT containing plants that are available in India. Most of these plants are available in other countries too, so the information is valid.
If you want me to add/remove something or if you spot some error, do tell me.

Goal

The reason for writing this is to contribute knowledge to people seeking information on DMT containing plants. Lots of information can be found online on this topic. Unfortunately most of it is dispersed, much is incomplete and some plainly wrong.

Validity

I've done my best to make valid statements based on the information at hand by analysing its credibility. However, some info is based on limited accounts. It would be good to have additional people share their experiences or test and report findings to check the validity of things stated only by a few. Do not regard anything written as absolute truth! This is to be used as a guide and reference only. Try to obtain more information before taking any action. Double check and verify. Don't hold me or Nexus responsible if something does not go according to expectation.

Sources are listed in most areas.

Thanks for sharing, very interesting! Some of those flowers actually look like DMT extract fresh out of the freezer (6,7,8 in part a and 1, 4, of part b in particular)

..great list and topic, thank you Miles_Kilo :)

i'm looking forward to part C..

two others that come to mind are:

(confirmed DMT)
Pandanus spiralis ('Screw Pine') [source: Schultes and Hofmann] , which is used in ayurveda (that info given personally to me)

(rumoured)
Acacia suma (synon. Acacia polyacantha; now Senegal polyacantha) ..which i've mentioned elsewhere...

..keep up the great research..
India has a fascinating and hidden wealth of plants and lore..
.

..i'll add any more candidates i can think of here (and still await Part C with interest..)

in the meanwhile, here's Pandanus spirals, in which DMT was found in the nuts..
it is found in West Bengal and Sikkim (as well as northern Australia and other Indian & Pacific Ocean areas)
.

Hm cool! I'm about to cut down a -20' albizia tree on account of its roots are probably messing with the foundation of my house. I was going to just use it for firewood but perhaps an experiment is in order.

Great work and rather thoughtful of you to compile this :) From India myself and this helps a great deal for quick reference.

However as for #8 in plants confirmed to contain dmt

Some plants may contain DMT in the bark and leaf, but may have been misidentified as most do not.[2] Traces of alkaloids detected in bark, leaf and seed; sometimes no alkaloids[1][25]

Considering this the status of A. Melanoxylon seems to be more on the uncertain side. Damn people need to work on these plants.

Thanks soo much for the compilation.
I got hold of Acacia Catechu.
The link for Acacia Catechu above is not working.
Also could you point to the Tek for extracting Catechu?
I opened a number of teks and they say not for extracting Acacia.

Thanks again,
Ss

That won't work, unless kattha (for paan) is what you want. You need taiwan kattha (acrb).

Is it safe to buy mhrb from Amazon,I'm from hyderabad

No discussion on selling, buying, sourcing, acquiring, pricing, trading, receiving, distributing, mentioning pending deliveries or smuggling of drugs

This includes all isolated psychedelic compounds and RCs (Research Chemicals), whether they are legal or not. The only goods allowed to be discussed are legal live plants, legal viable seeds (both in the Sustainable plant and seed suppliers subforum) and legal/unwatched chemical supplies. See Street Value of DMT (AND WHY YOU SHOULDN'T EVER SELL DMT AND OTHER PSYCHEDELICS) for good reasons why we don't allow this.

Also please read this thread: Bye bye MHRB sourcing talk, we will remember you

In short, NO.
