DMT, Ego-Less, and Martial Arts

I once posted about if or how psychedelics and martial arts are related. Members here believed so heavily. The decision was pretty unanimous. Yin yang, the soft and the hard, meditation and being in the moment to the fullest whilst sparring or fighting, etc.

Here is the thread:

But my new question related to this is this - How can one be ego-less in martial arts? Being a fighter, projecting outward bodily strikes or defense, seems to need an ego to project all of that.

It seems like the fighters or martial artists who have larger egos do better - Connor McGregor, Macho Man, haha.

How, or can one, participate in martial arts while remaining ego-less?

Someone might pass here and copy some of the Baghavad Gita, might be appropriate.

I don't relate much to your conception of "ego-less". And most of martial artist will tell you if someone try to attack them, they will just run as fast as they can. And if they do respond, they will likely blend in the attack to neutralize the opponent - meaning make him realize effortlessly his efforts are vain. To me, all those things about blending in and effortlessness in action are "ego less", they teach you that, but so they do in action.

So I don't see why someone could not be ego less in violence, you also implies that projections are the fruit of the ego, but you will never stop projecting. Like ever. Even ego death under entheogens influence is a state of hyper projectivity, actually I think that any form of ego death leads to more projection leads to animism (as a perception of life), when you project into anything, you kill your identity. I'm not very fond of it and beware of the 'empty' way. To me animism is great, but the whole thing about becoming ego less is a bit of a dead end.
