DMT Entities as a symbiotic organism?

Given the astounding complexity of the brain and its long evolutionary history, as well as the way in which many organisms live in a symbiotic manner (such as bacteria in our guts), I had the idea that perhaps the DMT entities are indeed real separate intelligent symbiotic structures within the brain, something like 'shepherds' for conscious processes that step in whenever a button is pressed to release them, and maybe under extreme circumstances (i.e. death). Or perhaps they just represent manifestations of different parts of the brain as interpreted by the conscious train of thought. Thus, the phenomenon of entities intruding into reality could just be those normally unconscious parts of the brain revealing themselves to the conscious self.

Are the implications of this idea consistent with our current understanding of neuroscience and how psychedelics affect the brain?

I don't think that is possible, all cells in the brain have the same DNA and a have a common heritage with the first cell the body was made from, the zygote. Therefore there can not be seperate organisms in the brain because all parts of the brain are a part the same organism.

The only exception would be the mitochondria i guess but they are just very small intracellular "powerstations".

This was my response to someone else who brought up the notion of parasitic entities.

I'll give you my best guess for what it's worth. It's something you hear people talk about a lot in terms of them wanting you to come and return so badly. I think there is a mutual exchange that goes on. It's not necessarily parasitic (though some darker entities may more likely be), but you get something out of it and they get something out of it. I believe in ecology, it's known as mutualism. From the exchange, we (can) receive euphoria, lessons, demonstrations, unique opportunities, spiritual and/or mystical experiences, beautiful visions, etc...

So now the question becomes (the crux of your question) what do they get out of it? Here's what I think: Hyperspace and all its components (including entities) appear to me as energetic phenomena. They are affected by vibration (light, sound, buzzing, etc...) and by attention. The energies of hyperspace and attention are directly linked. Where you put your attention shifts where energy accumulates. As energy accumulates in a certain region of hyperspace (be it upon an entity or otherwise) that part of hyperspace is given both the ability to work its hyperspatial magic in addition to "developing" or making more sophisticated the locus of your focus. People often talk about how the entities will beg for their attention, and the reason could well be that it is something that they thrive off, and not necessarily in a sinister way. As beings of energy their own capacities may flourish most highly when our attention nourishes them.

I am less inclined to believe that entities are unconscious parts of the brain. When you deal with ones that are rather abstract or even anthropomorphized or animals, it could be easy to argue that they're merely unconscious parts of the brain being projected outward for the observation of the conscious self, but then when you take into account Hindu or Egyptian deities in their respective ancient Hindu or Egyptian settings respectively (i.e. temples in the appropriate styles) then IMO it reduces the liklihood that they're simply projections of unconscious parts of the brain.

I've had a really useful experience on some mushrooms I got from a stranger. These buggers where extremely potent and every single person who took them had a powerful trip that scared them to death. Including myself.

I decided to work with them anyway because I believed it might be possible to change this batch's personality. Which turned out to be correct. These guys where strong as heck and as soon as they started working my brain produced shrieking sounds and chaotic humming etc. typical chaos and bad feelings etc. from just a few shrooms. Very powerful.

What I did next was something I learned from the Monroe Institute which is to breathe in colour. I visualized that these chaotic sounds came from a place inside my brain and I decided to send "Purple breathe" to this thing. And immediately the voice in my head thanked me and went like "Ooooh Yess All this beautiful purple. Oh yes. Oh yes! So much purple!!" hahaha. It was quite amazing. I suppose I can vouch for Global's theory here because it turns out that the lessons I received back from this encounter where extremely helpful and powerful. As if there was truly an exchange of favors.


I think maybe mushrooms are different in this fashion because it is not an Endogenous neurotransmitter. DMT etc. might tune us into our own chemical neurosoup moreso than mushrooms. I think we could imagine the Chemicals and the neurons working together as two seperate forces. Depending on which chemical and which neuron is affected there is a specific Resonance pattern in between the two. If that makes sense?

I am speculating the above to fit with my story but for further inquiry, the neurons are supposed to be the home-players and the chemicals are the outside-team. What happens when these two teams play together is a causal chain of events that is determined by their chemical-neuronal effects.

I have not often seen autonomic entities or anything of the sorts. So i can not speak for those. Perhaps some kind of sexual moving imagery is akin to an entity in my body which represents an emotional blockade. It might have everything to do with my nervous system. But to be honest the problem is to complex for me to make any sort of judgement for myself.

What I do find a very likely explanation. Is that our body/mind is inhabited by a sort of "Daemon". And that sometimes we contact it as a seperate entity but as it progresses turns out that we are that seperate entity. It is akin to a higher self and a lower self. But really the two are just two sides of the same coin. Carl Jung psychology of the Anime and Animus is a good analogy for this, I think.

EDIT: This is my interpretation of about 10% of my entity contact. The other ones I have thought of as Neutrino interaction from cosmic entities but also collective unconscious (Carl. Jung, once again)
