Not an angry scientist but a mad one.
After reading through Icemans' recent post about DMT insulfulation an idea:idea: occured to someone-
FYI; a 'hot rail' is the term used by some to refer to a line of amphetamine (meth, but maybe this is done with other substances too IDK) that is insulfulated with a glass tube that has been heated with a torch on one end so that it is red hot. When the line passes through the tube it is instantly vaporized. This has the effect of seeing someone snort a line through the nose or sucking it up through the mouth and then exhaling and enormous cloud of smoke as if they had just taken a toke off a pipe.
Someone decided to try this and got a glass/pyrex tube which I heated with a torch and then streched and kinda bent back and forth to make the end wavy and thin so that any spice passing through it wouldn't take a straight route through the tube. This is to avoid any molten hot material from reaching someones nasal or throat tissue and acting like napalm- sticking to and burning into the flesh.
Such a thing has been known to happen but only when large amounts of substance are consumed all at once this way and a large enuf section of glass isn't heated sufficiently.
The results?
Successful!
Someone was not willing to try this through the nasal passage yet untill someone is certain the above mentioned tragedy won't happen but, this person did try inhaling through the mouth and was quite pleased with the large amount of spice he could instantly vaporize and inhale in one quick toke.
I suspect that a terrifyingly large amount of spice could be consumed rapidly in one breath this way but don't realy feel the need to do that. Nor does YT have the balls to try it!
There was alot of residue left in the tip of the glass indicating to me that the bending of the glass to avert a direct passage is a good call.
With greater heating over a larger section of the glass straw all of the spice could be vaporized without leaving any residue behind.
This instantly vaporized dose would expand in the lungs probably so if someone does this they should play with it for a few before 'diving into the deep end' so to speak.
