Dmt trip strange ending

Years ago while still in my honeymoon stage with DMT,I would go to one of my co-workers house after work a few times a week and we would partake.Most times we would smoke together but sometimes he would act as a sitter.

One evening I had smoked a large dose while he was sitting.It was very powerful and I was trying to resist the ego death.He calmly talked me through the worst of it mostly by telling me to let go and describe what I what I was seeing.It worked well and reduced the fear I had.

The trip turned out to be very positive and to my surprise I had a hyperspace family waiting there for me.A wife and 3 kids ,mind you they did not look human and communicated with me through thoughts and actions rather than words.But the love I felt from these beings was more than I thought possible.

When the trip started to subside I was looking at my friend and telling him of my wonderful trip after we talked a minute or so.He then said something that startled me when I said "wow I cant believe that is over" and he said "it wasnt over and that I should open my eyes".

My eyes were closed the entire time but near the end I thought I had opened them before speaking to him again.I could see him and all the contents of his living room with my eyes closed.Needless to say I was very surprised when I did open my eyes,because I was still having strong visuals.I was shocked all I kept saying was "I thought I was back".

I have had strange experiences where I thought hyperspace was reality under the influence but I had never had one that looked and felt like my normal waking reality.

I now think it must have been because we were talking so much that I had formed the mental picture in my mind.

I have read of other experiences where people see friends/ relatives.I have also seen real life people in hyperspace but they are always different like fractalized or blue or some strange color.


Anyone else ever had "false awakenings" like this?

Nice report! You might have stumbled into a parallel reality, one where you have a family and visitations from other realities is common place. I just had a thought, maybe upon return to baseline instead of returning you to the reality you came from, DMT drops you off in a "close enough" neighborhood. None the less, I think the prospect of meeting people you know while in hyperspace, or in your case a whole family that you both knew and didn't know is nothing short of stellar:d

I've had at least one occasion where I had the distinct sensation that my eyes were closed, but I felt like I could see through my eyelids and even other surfaces. Mind you, I had just puked from smoking DMT on ayahuasca, but I guess that's what it took to bring on a phenomenon like that for me.

i was once smoalking at night in a dark room, no lights and curtains closed, half way through the experience, while i was circling a giant statue of Buddha in a little boat, i started to cough and i reached out my hand and said drink, as i did a hole tore in the centre of the vision and my friend, who was clearly illuminated by candle light, appeard holding a glass of water, i drank and handed the glass back and the hole closed up and i was back in the vision.

when it was over my friend said there were no candles, no light at all really and certainly not enough to illuminate him, he also said that I didnt appear to have my eyes open but it was to dark to say for sure. I think that as long as you know what the room looks like then it is very easily recreated, but its a very interesting phenomenon.
