I had a successful extraction and still have the lye solution in the jar... I just found another 50-60 grams of root bark, so I was wondering if I could re-use whats in the jar (maybe add more lye) OR should I start the whole procedure over again?
 
Have you only done one extraction? I do several pulls from the same jug b4 starting new ones. You will notice the quality and yeild go down the more pulls you do.
 
Just start the process over again with fresh ingredients. No need to reuse the spent bark/base soup, as you will end up working with a load more liquid than necessary.
