Do we have any data on how long basified MHRB remains good?

Migrated topic.

Thankyou everyone, Just figured we should compile some evidence on this, because
as a few members are extracting >1kg at at time, the later pulls require a long time
to get to. I just wondered how long DMT can survive at ph ~13.

If it turns to n-oxide, thats fine, but how long before the dmt oxide in turn breaks down?
or is it indefinately stable after that?

(p.s, couldn't find anything of use on the search)

My extractions sometimes run a month or more from basification to final pull. I haven't noticed any difference between the long and short duration extractions, but I wasn't looking for any either.

SWIM has had 2 gallons worth of MHRB tea which has been exhausted by naphtha sitting under his sink for almost more than 2 months now. SWIM every now and then takes about 200ml of the tea and does a pull with d-limonenne to get the other alkaloids and remaining spice from the mix. SWIM hasnt noticed anything off, it all looks good to SWIM.

So to answer your question, to the best of SWIMs experience, at least it was good 2 months. SWIM plans on leaving it down there for about 1 more months before it is all exhausted.

A monkey i know went through a series of unfavorable events. He completed 1 pull from 500g of bark and then wasn't able to do anymore pulls for 7 months while the extraction jug was shaken around once in a great while. He's finished extracting now and didn't notice any difference in the quality of spice, or the amount of spice yeilded compared to previous extractions with the same bark.

Fantastic, UniverseCannon, thats all I wanted to know. Great avatar btw :)
