supid question i am asking .. but was the heat source too close to the pipe?
You fried it. Just put enough heat on to melt it and swirl it around in the bowl until the pipe is filled with vapor. Remember, you're vaporizing, not burning.
he cleaned pipe and tried again, keeping flame 2-3 inches away. after it melted, it turned into brown liquid again and only gave off a very small vapor. doe sit normally recrystalize or stay brown liquid? maybe he is too used to smoking something else and this is normal for DMT. just seems hard to get smoke without burning it.
