So I dehydrated my tea down yesterday and this is what I got. It was a little sticky/wet still, so I am dehydrating it more right now.
Entheojen said:Yes, looks spot on. Keep it going until it becomes gummy. Then scrape and roll into balls. If you let it evaporate too long it will just be very hard and brittle and you won't be able to roll it. However, if this does happen just add a little hot water bit by bit and it will dissolve very easily.
ouro said:or; if it gets hard and brittle, scrape it up with a razor, put it in between layers of wax paper under some heavy books. After it has compressed, change the orientation of the resin block and compress it again until you have a brick. This can be cut with a razor into morsels and rolled in flour.
behindthelight - you may find the process more rewarding if you try following through and using your own judgement more instead of checking in at the nexus every single step of the way. You might even discover a new technique using your own creativity and ingenuity instead of recycling other peoples ideas.
Entheojen said:I've never used cuttings, but as far as I'm aware one foot seems to be a good starting point to get the feel. There was an experience report put up recently in the cactus section where the guy took 3 foot. It depends too on the thickness of the cuttings obviously, and the potency. Everyone says cactus is very forgiving however! Is it a first time?
