anyone else have dragons figuring prominently in their journeys? lately, they are just HUGE in every city i go to....they fly with me everywhere, they're in the underbelly machine rooms you drop down through on your way back....they are everywhere! great, mighty beasts....powerful beyond anything and a wise, loving acceptance that makes me feel exactly like i do when i meet dogs in this reality!! i've concluded that dragons are like dogs over there....they just love and want to be loved and follow you around and want to play.....and they have a deep wisdom from being completely in the moment.

i've been seeing them a lot...they meet me at the geometry and i fly out to my destination with them...they perch on roof tops as i flow through cities....they fly alongside great "flying machines" that look like winged goodyear blimps with impossibly ornate details... once, on a sub-breakthrough attempt, i went into the holding room and as i looked at the "impossi-hedron" that usually opens into my journey, a dragon was on the other side trying to push his face through to greet me.....like a dog on the other side of a fence who is just DYING to play with you...

anyways, i'm just curious if anyone else has developed a rapport with these 'dogs of hyperspace' or, as i like to think of them- "entities' best friend"...

MUCH LOVE AND GRATITUDE!!

Wholy crap antrocles...

I dont even know what to say...

Are you even human anymore?:d

Actaully I have seen something similar with bufo and caapi..it wasnt exactly a dragon but something like a dragon, and it came up and was licking me with it's tounge..and I could almost feel it's tounge massaging my brain..

.

he he he... more human than i've ever been able to be..... though lately i've been thinking of changing my name to He/that..... ;)

it's funny..i haven't read many reports that discuss dragons....they seem so ubiquitous to me....i see them every bit as much (and lately MORE) than i see elves or other entities...

LOTS of insects lately as well....always on my way "back" when i've dropped down from the "peak transmission" and into what i call the "machine works". lately i've been having all kinds of insectoid beings, octopoid entities and....yes..DRAGONS all checking me out....eating me....i go through them and see them from the inside....it's just been an incredible journey my friend....truly incredible...

surely i can't be the only one seeing dragons!

L&G!!

My pal Opticus is as often a big Chinese foo-dog looking dragon these days as often as not. He was much more octopoid, generally, when we first met. Of course, his appearance melts like butter on a griddle, but he is definitely the dragon for me these days. Dog-like is a very apt descriptor, Antrocles.

Well I was born in the year of the Dragon 1964. I see dragons and snakes all the time they are always allies in this world and every other that may of may not exist. Fear not the Dragons nor the reptiles:lol:

They are my friends. There is no such thing as a psychic vampire so do not try to pull my chain, I will drag you away.

Dragons are to be celebrated! Be they entities of psychological manifestations! I never met a dragon or reptile I did not like.:)

Yes they are like dogs. I do not have the time to walk a dog and give them proper companiship so my pets are reptiles BIG ones and I love them just like others love the family dog.

Peace

PS sorry about that Dave I. I hope you wake up from your dream world and find a new job soon!

Man I was hoping for some Tanya Roberts action in that Beast master clip:) Cool movie from back in the day!

I am really surprised there are not more dragon and serpent trips this is a interesting observation. Ask any Amazonian Shamen how many Aliens he has seen. Then ask him about serpents he will tell you serpents are everywhere all the time. What are the psychological reasons for this? I have my opinion and ask others to consider this important tidbit that gives big clues about the psychedelic experience and the underbellie of the ever elusive human mind.

But back to the question "Got Dragons"?
Yes indeed for many many years in this world and in every other world I ever been to.

Remember the old maps of the world? When it was only partially mapped out they would have the know part of the map in detail with land oceans ect and the unknown part of the map would be BLANK and simply denoted with the words.........

"There Be Dragons"

Dragons/Serpents are the unknown I will follow them were ever they lead me. Because I want to know! That is my addiction sometimes I spend to much time thinking about it. They have never told me a lie and such they are the opposite of assumptions and preprogrammed beliefs. Some fear them because others told them to I never believed that lie.
Yes I enjoyed that apple may I have another? There is nothing wrong with knowledge why are the little ones so fearful?

ok I am off to watch Beast Master:)
Thanx for that

L&G back at you all!

Peace

When I'm outside spinning a bostaff, I often see huge snakes. Curiously, they are always native constrictor species, I never see rattlers or racers. Pet snakes were my thing as a kid, so there is no fear element for me as far as serpents go. It strikes me as interesting that the traditional auasceros speak of boas and anacondas, and I get native constrictors like gopher snakes and king snakes. It appears that my eye picks out the natural patterns in sand and vegetation and then applies the naturally evolved camouflage over it, which exactly resembles the species native to the environment.

the most common and perhaps the only animal in my dreams very regularly is millions of large black snakes- i dont fear snakes at all either, quite dig em, but id dig to know why this is.

I do love dragons. They´re my all-time favourite mythological beasts, so to say. Even in casual space. Looking forward to meet them in the hyperspace.

A few months ago I journeyed with the intention of uncovering a spirit ally or spirit animal it you will. I had been reading Hank Wesselman's "Spirit Walker" series and had become interested in the concept of a helping animal spirit. In the past I have been wary of the idea of "spirit animals", mainly because I didn't have one and had no basis for believing that it was even possible. Anyway the deeper I have been able to delve in to my own conciousness, I realize that the connections and possibilities are endless, so what the heck, maybe I do have a helping spirit.
OK long story short, I meditated on this idea before my journey, and I encountered a bearded Chinese Dragon dancing and flying through my visions. He radiated a timelessness with a stoic yet friendly demaeanor. From this meeting I have begun to take more interest in the Dragon and all of the mythology and symbolism attached to them. I'm not sure if they are my spirit animal, but they are really fucking cool, and I have utmost respect for these entities.
I just remember it blowing my mind when I came back, saying "Now I know who the Chinese based all these myths and symbols on, they must have met him too!"

:D i see dragons often.. flying through the cosmos
i CAN see myself as a dragon in mirrors easily on pharma tho can picture it whenever
after all.. i am a dragon.. red cosmic dragon to be precise
i have to admit its quite fun being a dragon i feel timeless and connected to things in a way that feels ancient and forever
its hard to explain..
Red Dragon represents the root source of life, the nurturance and support of primary being, and within it are found the primal waters of unity. This is where your deepest roots receive true nourishment. Red Dragon is the energy of form contained within the formlessness of the primordial sea.
hmm form in formlessness :) yup maybe thats why i dont fear high doses of hallucinogens

REALLY GOOD STUFF YOU GUYS!!! psy- great link....i REALLY identify with these loving creatures and they seem to love the crap out o me over there..... in truth, i've been finding myself as much excited to go fly and play with THEM as much as any other things i get to learn and experience... but then again...i freakin' love EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING over there... :D

and btw- psy and house- you guys are cracking me up with your gulping seagull avatars!

LOVE AND GRATITUDE!!

hahahaha im glad you got a kick out of it :)
yea man they are loving creatures we are hyperspace guides

of course i feel many in my one but somethings stand out
dragon is one of them.. its hard to describe what its like when i am on pharma
but its very fun i like laying on my bed huddled in the blanket like a slumbering dragon in a cave... i then close my eyes and fly through space... ahhh cant wait to go back :D

Any difference between Eastern and Western style dragons?

I see the long, shifty, serpentine ones often... but never those fire-breathing fatter varieties. ;)

perhaps its cause i am american but i see the western style but they have a morphing quality to em... i rarely breath fire tho usually just large puffs of smoke 😉 they can appear as everything but you see their form for what they are.. hard to put words to but as we say its fun to try

one time when i was listening to some binaural rhythms and smoked dmt...i saw dragons...perhaps its a frequency that calls them..im trying to remember what it was set at...

Oh yes: dragons! I met an incredibly powerful dragon in a dream a few months ago.
The whole village was fleeing in panic and I hid in a toilet somewhere deep down (I guess I still have some fear issues ;) ), but the dragon was not evil - just very powerful. It materialized when snapping its jaws shut..

Dreams are not DMT, but once one has experienced some DMT-induced worlds, it's entirely normal to incorporate these experiences in the dream world. I hope this memory is still powerful enough to reproduce a picture...

DMT-like giant snakes have appeared in my dreams too... my 2 cts. L&G!

Michael Harner, author of The way of the Shaman also encountered dragon like creatures on one powerful ayahuasca voyage:

An excerpt from the trip:

I became aware of my brain. I felt—physically—that it had become compartmentalized into four separate and distinct levels. At the uppermost surface was the observer and commander, which was conscious of the condition of my body, and was responsible for the attempt to keep my heart going.

lt perceived, but purely as a spectator, the visions emanating from what seemed to be the nether portions of my brain. Immediately below the topmost level I felt a numbed layer, which seemed to have been put out of commission by the drug—it just wasn't there. The next level down was the source of my visions, including the soul boat. Now I was virtually certain I was about to die.

As I tried to accept my fate, an even lower portion of my brain began to transmit more visions and information. I was "told" that this new material was being presented to me because I was dying and therefore "safe" to receive these revelations. These were the secrets reserved for the dying and the dead, I was informed.

I could only very dimly perceive the givers of these thoughts: giant reptilian creatures reposing sluggishly at the lowermost depths of the back of my brain, where it met the top of the spinal column. I could only vaguely see them in what seemed to be gloomy, dark depths. Then they projected a visual scene in front of me.

First they showed me the planet Earth as it was eons ago, before there was any life on it. I saw an ocean, barren land, and a bright blue sky. Then black specks dropped from the sky by the hundreds and landed in front of me on the barren landscape. I could see that the "specks" were actually large, shiny, black creatures with stubby pterodactyl-like wings and huge whale-like bodies. Their heads were not visible to me. They flopped down, utterly exhausted from their trip, resting for eons.

They explained to me in a kind of thought language that they were fleeing from something out in space. They had come to the planet Earth to escape their enemy. The creatures then showed me how they had created life on the planet in order to hide within the multitudinous forms and thus disguise their presence. Before me, the magnificence of plant and animal creation and speciation—hundreds of millions of years of activity—took place on a scale and with a vividness impossible to describe.

I learned that the dragon-like creatures were thus inside of all forms of life, including man. They were the true masters of humanity and the entire planet, they told me. We humans were but the receptacles and servants of these creatures. For this reason they could speak to me from within myself.

These revelations, welling up from the depths of my mind, alternated with visions of the floating galley, which had almost finished taking my soul on board. The boat with its blue-jay headed deck crew was gradually drawing away, pulling my life force along as it headed toward a large fjord flanked by barren, worn hills. I knew I had only a moment more to live. Strangely, I had no fear of the bird-headed people; they were welcome to have my soul if they could keep it.

But I was afraid that somehow my soul might not remain on the horizontal plane of the fjord but might, through processes unknown but felt and dreaded, be acquired or re-acquired by the dragon-like denizens of the depths. I suddenly felt my distinctive humanness, the contrast between my species and the ancient reptilian ancestors. I began to struggle against returning to the ancient ones, who were beginning to feel increasingly alien and possibly evil. Each heart beat was a major undertaking.

He later went to a master shaman in the village to ask about his voyage:

I was now eager to solicit a professional opinion from the most supernaturally knowledgeable of the Indians, a blind shaman who had made many excursions into the spirit world with the aid of the ayahuasca drink. lt seemed only proper that a blind man might be able to be my guide to the world of darkness. I went to his hut, taking my notebook with me, and described my visions to him segment by segment.

At first I told him only the highlights; thus, when I came to the dragon-like creatures, I skipped their arrival from space and only said, "There were these giant black animals, something like great bats, longer than the length of this house, who said that they were the true masters of the world." There is no word for dragon in Conibo, so "giant bat" was the closest I could come to describe what I had seen.

He stared up toward me with his sightless eyes, and said with a grin, "Oh, they're always saying that. But they are only the Masters of Outer Darkness."

He waved his hand casually toward the sky. I felt a chill along the lower part of my spine, for I had not yet told him that I had seen them, in my trance, coming from outer space. I was stunned.

What I had experienced was already familiar to this barefoot, blind shaman. Known to him from his own explorations of the same hidden world into which I had ventured. From that moment on I decided to learn everything I could about shamanism.
