Migrated topic.

Hi, I found a few mullien plants right outside my house, (at least im pretty sure they are mullien) but its the middle of winter, and they are dried up and dead... would the top part still be good for use infusing with spice or in a changa blend?
Or is it important to have fresh mullien? Anyone tried dry stuff?
I can take a picture of the plant if it will help you guys decide.

Thanks very much I want to infuse it and use it here in a few days so please help me out!

mullein is a nice one.
sure, you want it fresh, AND dried.
if it is still green, and dried, then its prob ok. i have only used the fuzzy leaves, not the yellow flowering tops.
also, mullein seems to grow in kinda poor soil conditions, so u may think about if the soil is clean--if in urban setting, etc.
i would avoid it if it is brown.

I don't know for sure, but it seems like the leaves and tops would be ok.

If they are overly harsh, I'd probably try to acquire some from a vendor instead.
