Does anyone have one of these?
In case you havent heres what they look like



Its just that SWIM bought one of these to use with spice but cannot find a technique which gives him enough to break through.
Firstly SWIM plugs the top with tissue paper so any vapour produced doesnt escape out the top. He heats the bowl until it is filled with vapour. Then he removes the tissue paper and clears the bowl. Once the bowl is cleared the vapours continue to be produced ( i guess coz the glass is still hot) and then he clears it again after he has exhaled the last lot (after holdin it in for as long as he can) but he cannot break through.
Any tips to improve SWIMS technique please?

Hes loading it with 40-50mgof spice
 
SWIM's FOAF has always found those glassbulb-type vaporizers too harsh to smoke, definitely to harsh to take enough comfortable hits for a breakthrough. SWIM's just using something very similar to that, or a shisha-type waterbong and smokes spice mixed with some herb.

But if smoking technique is not the problem, maybe SWIY trys to increase the dosage? 100mg is certainly enough for a breakthrough and most likely SWIY will find him/herseld out there before smoking all of it.
 
Hhmmmm, well im not sure if it his smokin technique or the dose.
You would have expected him to break through with a 50mg dose when it was only his second time ever.
Il suggest he tries a higher dose next time
 
VAPORGENIE does look classy, especially the dark wood design. SWIM's FOAF loves glass pipes and crack pipes but they look notoriously "evil", one can easily associate them with some insane drug abuse practices. But the wooden design looks like a regular pipe, one may think you as a well-respected intellectual (while you take your hit in the middle of the park).

Jorkest, does one have to mix spice with some herb when using the vaporgenie?
 
the best way is to put a screen of say blue lotus down and then pile the spice on top..and then melt it down into the material...before placing the top 'flame screen' over the bowl area...the melting keeps it from falling all over...and then you just put the flame to the opening at the top and hit...and the hits are lonnng and slow...and works like a fucking charm...never need to worry about burning the spice...and it also helps with first timers..because it takes away a lot of risk...AND they dont have to see the spice to smoke it...

EDIT: plus NO vapor is lost...since the piece is all enclosed...there is NO vapor loss at all

plus the design is very nice to have...spice wont spill all over the place...can set it up and carry it whereever without any worry of something falling out...SWIM has the longer one...he got some for his other SWIMMING friends..and its all they use now...there are so many benefits to this method...less spice used...and if there are left overs they arent all charred...can easily take last nights left overs and get a good breakthrough...ONE HIT STYLE...the smoke is barely harsh at all...smells so good...and then once you are done hitting it...the leftovers are all crystalized inside the herb so are fairly protected from oxygen...

it just takes a little experimenting to get your method down pact...but it works sooooo well

EDIT #2: this is also the only 'piece' that SWIM doesnt feel the need to throw as far away from him as possible after hitting the pipe...its actually really nice to hold after you take your hit...and its wood so if you drop it it wont break OR loose any special stuff
 
hell yeah...SWIM has been trying to convert people over to the genie for awhile..just remember..it takes a few tries to get your method down...but once you do...you will never go back

For fuck sake, youve sold it. Why didnt SWIM come across this one before he forked out for his Eagle Bill Vapouriser. I agree with what one dude said earlier, I think to much oxygen comes through the big fuck off hole in the top of the eagle bill. Defo gonna tell SWIM to get one of these.

Could Jorkest get the informtion from his FOAF on the best technique to use with the VAPOURGENIE. Whats blue lotus? Can you not just use parsely or what not?
 
you can use any herb...pile the spice on top...melt it down...and then hit it long and slow...fill up your longs..hold it for at least 20 seconds...if you get a good hit...one will do..but if not..take another hit and hold that one until hyperspace

the genie has directions on how your are supposed to use it for tobacco of course..just modify for spice..its pretty simple

Can you clarify what you mean by melt it. Does SWIY mean heat it so it forms a liquid which is soaked into whatever herb you be usin?
 
..those vaporgenies.. what type of material makes the innards of the pipe? Is it possible to run solvent down the pipe in an effort to clean and recapture condensed spice?

If not, wouldnt the shorter one be more efficient seeing that there would be less travel (cooling) time for the spice to condense along the inside?
 
so far SWIM hasnt had to clean his genie..the inside is all wood.. but i dont think it would be a great idea to clean it with a solvent..not sure what sort of oils would be pulled out with it..

he feels that there isnt a whole lot of cooling happening because wood doesnt dissipate heat that quickly...the shorter ones would work fine..but the longer ones are more appealing to hold and look at...and look less like a crazy drug pipe...which is sometimes strange while smoking spice...you can also really see what you are doing with the longer one..but really its only like an inch or so longer than the other one..but its really a nice pipe..beautiful really..

the other amazing thing about this method..is that for some reason the experience usually last noticeably longer...sometimes a few minutes..and sometimes twenty! and if you use some maois with it...its just absolutely amazing...so calming..and soothing...and the taste is like nothing else...it barely tastes like anything..haha until your lungs are full of it...but then in a few seconds your in hyperspace so you dont notice so much;)
 
Anybody know of any good simple crack/meth pipe looking pipes that are kinda like the Eagle Bill pipe with a much smaller hole?

I'm looking to put some salvia and cannabis out of it.
