effects of dmt on dreaming

Dmt seems to have a very strong effect on dreaming for me. Before i started doing dmt i rarely had any recollection of my dreams & when i did they were strange, disorganized, & often had people & places i did not recognize.
But when i smoke dmt, within a day or two i always have dreams that i remember much better & in much more detail.
They also seem to be much less random & distraught & more oriented towards my life & the people in it & focus on realistic things (ex. Talking to my family, eating dinner, etc.).
They seem so realistic i have no clue im even dreaming until i wake up. After waking up its apparent that ehat happened was a dream the entire time.

I also seem to wake up with much more energy & feel better when the dreams occur. 😁

DMT use drastically altered my dreams for a couple weeks after as well. It faded after about 2 weeks, but the effects were stunning.

My dreams were much more vivid and felt like they were taking place in big "fields" or "spaces" instead of just my childhood home or school or whatever. Since I knew about DMT as well I sometimes thought in my dream that I was on DMT at the time. In one dream in particular I entered a large orange-ish alien space with spaceships all around, and I was floating in the area. There were different pillars of sorts that I was flying around, then there were metallic bug type aliens at a later point.

Maybe there's a physical reason, or maybe it was just a placebo because I was thinking a lot about DMT and the trips at the time. Maybe the surrounding ideologies and circumstances caused the dreams.. Hard to say for sure.

Its too bad dmt & psychedelics in general have become so taboo & demonized in society.
It would be cool to see how brainwave activity during sleep is affected by smoked dmt.
