Hallo, dmt nexus

I shall preface with an apology into the future for any strange mistakes regarding grammar and punctuation, for I am currently only able to access the internet by way of my phone which has shown me precious little mercy in way of keyboard domination. I can recall in my youth having a few chuckles at my parents one-finger typing on a desktop keyboard while I typed rapidly and now see children no older than twelve typing what seem to be essays by the minute on their smart phone while I watch quietly impressed, funny how much change time brings.

Moving along, to say a little of myself. I am male, twenty six earth years young. I've not had too much experience with psychadelics but have found, regardless of an inability to access certain plants for a large portion of my life, that my interest has still been always drawn to the psychadelic state of consciousness. I suppose I should thank such fellow humans as terence mckenna, Robert anton wilson, and Rick strassman who have so poetically questioned the limits of our being and the foundation of our beliefs with regards to sacred plants for said interest, as well as one particular of the few psilocibin mushroom sessions I've had, during which I split an oz with a friend and had a multitude of shared visions, listened to.the most beautiful other wordly music, which seemed to permeate all of existence yet contained no discernible origin like some v.a.l.i.s. type entity from the Philip k. Dick's universe for what seemed like hours, and most profound of all, having what can only be described as a telepathic communication with my friend as mckenna describes briefly in the archaic revival.

I knew after that night there was no turning back, I had not chosen the path less traveled but rather was dragged through it and now continue to walk the other side. DMT has been something of an obsession as of late, although I have not had much success with vapor techniques. The experience is either much too strong or not strong enough, though I now know thanks to hours of lurking here that poor technique and piss poor pipe can share the blame. I've decided go try a different administration route, by way of an aya journey as I seem to understand one of its many incarnations, using mimosa hostilis and Syrian rue. I anticipate planned brew ingestion eagerly but have decided to wait a few weeks to journey into other realms as my body is currently adjusting to a dietary change from vegan to raw vegan. I'm certain I will have many preparatory questions which is why I currently write this introduction.

Other interests of mine include: gurdjieff and ouspenski, yoga, raising my nine month old daughter who is currently sleeping on me as I type this, and watching a good film every so often.

Happy travels!

Inaniel.

Welcome to the nexus, Inaniel!

greatly enjoyed your introduction. I wish you all the best on your endless journey. There's plenty of things and experiences to marvel at out there, or within...

Have you considered taking pharmahuasca?

Wishing you all the best on your path through the wonderous world we live in.

cheers

Hello and many thanks, enoon!

I have indeed read over countless pharmahuasa reports while deciding my next route, but decided to go with aya for no explicit reason except intuition.

As luck (or perhaps something more meaningful) would have it, I currently am employed with several others who share similar interests, one person in particular who is currently in the process of harmala extraction. If all goes as planned, we will share both experience stories and the methods by which to attain them.

Of course! I've read beelzebub's tales, meetings with miraculous men, life is only real then when I am, and herald of coming good by gurdjieff. in search of the miraculous by ouspenski, as well as the strange life of ivan osokin. Is your forum name taken from HIS ENDLESS ENDLESSNESS?

My will to draw certain people in my life seems to function largely around synchronisations, my previous place of employment brought someone, when I first was into gurdjieff, whose family had been involved in the fourth way for quite some time. She says that for years they lived in a fourth way temple of sorts, built in Mexico city, describing the architecture as nothing short of awe inspiring. It was she who let me borrow her first edition copy of 'the strange life', numbered twenty five I believe with a personal note from ouspenski himself. She also pointed me in the direction of Rodney Collin who I also find much interest in.

It's unfortunate that the gurdjieff group in my area wasn't much worth while.

Favorite films... To name only a few, the holy mountain, blade runner, the fountain, memento, and synechdoche, ny. And yours?

Yeah my name is from Endless Endlessness :)

Beelzebub's tales was maybe the book that left the biggest mark on me, it's really beyond being just a book IMO. The other books from him (and from other few selected writers including some u mentioned in the first post) are great too, of course, but that one just takes the cake I think.

The ending of 'life is only real..' is so frustrating, isnt it? haha

I never got to check any fourth way groups, but I did briefly join some sufi meetings, though I felt the 'spark' wasn't there and left. In any case the whole idea of 'waking up', trying to constantly develop oneself, to keep changing the 'alarm clocks', self-observation and working on the three centers in a balanced way, are stuck with me forever. Also I love this epic feeling in his teachings, about the past and the ancient civilizations, the hidden knowledge, art and the octaves, etc, while at the same time being critical of the typical esoterism and the charlatans and crazy people out there (included his own followers, lol).

I wonder what he would have said about psychedelics, or the Nexus :D

Thanks for sharing your story!

As for my favorite films, here are some of them: Movie bin - Music/Art/Literature - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus

Yeah, that book had the biggest effect on me as well. It seemed to resonate an energy like few other books I've read. I do seem to recall him speaking negatively with regards to opium but don't recall any mention of psychadelics. I would like to know what he thought of the internet, if anything. Why make epic month long treks into dangerous territory when knowledge is a click away?? I also find how often and easily he labeled others charlatans hilarious, especially because I seem to share his perception on European philosophy, for the most part.

The ending the life is only real is quite frustrating, have you read 'the mount analogue'? It's what alejandro jodoworsky loosely based the holy mountain on, gorgeouslh written but also similarly frustrating.

I saw you included babel in your film list, have you seen biutiful? I think that was the last great film I've seen.
