Hello everyone,

My name's Rob and I'm from Holland,not from Amsterdam but from Rotterdam. For about 10-15 years noy I've been a Psychonaut, drawn to the world of drugs and believe me I've tried some in my time. Why I've been drawn to drugs I do not know. Not for fitting in or looking cool but for making contact with another world, wich I've always felt present.
Around 1996 I discovered Psychedelic Trance and that has gotten a real hold of me as has the entire Global Trance Culture. I've organised Parties, played as DJ and I'm a musiscian. Further I paint and create Graphic art.
Some years ago I got into a big financial mess and have lost a lot including my computer with my website and most of my art's and music, so sadly I cant link to much yet. Though on www.goatrance.de u could still see some parties I made when looking for "lucidvision", the name of my organisation or "silcon avatar(or silicone-typo)" for DJ sets.
Now I'm doing much better and start building up my life basicly from scratch again and got a party coming up march 2010 since it is my life's work promoting, making and playing Psychedelic Trance and to keep opening minds.

Now anyone who is familiar with Psy-Trance and I'm sure most of you are, you probably understand that I've done some traveling inside the mind already, I'm absolutly fond of LSD and Dancing, every time it cleanses my body and mind. Sometimes I go nuts (read: Festivals). But I use it with much respect and live a healthy life.
I used to take all kinds of stuff such as speed & XTC and whatever else I got thrown at me but since I discovered the trance/acid ritual I found a valuable source of life-expansion and have gotten more respect and understanding for life, nature and the Cosmos.

I had used DMT, at several occasions, but mostly rolled in a joint and such but not so long ago a good friend (the first friend I contacted after my ordeal had ended) extracted some DMT from Mimosa, while I contacted him because I found an extraction tek for DMT and wanted to try that together.
Well he already did another tek and had 2 grams of spice in the fridge. Stupid coincidence (if that exists?!).
Anyhoe... I tried a dose and smoked it in a bulb and at that moment my perception fell apart and felt like I was shot into Hyperspace like it happens in a Star Wars movie and found myself floating in space but sadly came back after a minute or so. Stupid as we are we kept smoking not knowing about the tolerance the body builds up so it took 1 or to hours to get some effect again.

We're contemplating a new extraction together and I've already made one as we speak. On your great website I've found good Ideas and I'm making various blends of enhanced leaf wich should finish soon.

I hope I can contribute to your site, learn I will for sure. SWIM is setting up a small lab at home and SWIM loves experimenting with it, SWIMS got some San Pedro Cacti wich SWIM will try to extract as well (cuz eating them is very horrible) and is trying an LSA extraction.

Thanx for ur feedback, I hope I can get a site started soon again, now I can only use internetcafe's and library computers so I cant even upload an avatar. But things are slowly looking up again so I hope I can share my music, arts & thought with all other like-minded folks out there.

My leaf will be ready in a week or two so I can write up a nice report for all to enjoy.

The artwork when opening the site is really cool, is it made by one of u ??

your story sounds familiar hehe.. SWIM's also been in the festival circuit for many years, though now he's on a break for a couple of years already.. Anyways, LSD and dancing is definitely fantastic :D

btw, I also suggest trying another smoking method.. the bulb is like THE method that gives problem to everybody.. I would suggest sandwhiched between a bit of herbs in a water bong, or even better, get yourself a vaporgenie pipe.. It is waaaay more effective

In any case, welcome! I can see you'll for sure be able to contribute to the forum and learn a lot too, like all of us.. Its a never ending process :)
 
Okay, I kow what u mean, the bulb doesnt work that well indeed, but maybe a jet-lighter or small gas lighter might do the trick though.

But with the leaves I think it will work the best yes.

Well I'll let u guys know soon I guess...

The artwork was created by Blackclo, I think, the original creator of the Nexus, the exact person who made the artwork im not sure about, it is somewhere here on the Nexus. The Traveler will have more info on exactly who did what.

With regards to the bulb smoking method, maybe pick up one of them "crack pipes" and a torch lighter, that worked well for me when I started my journey with Spice. But as Endlessness said, the vaporgenie work wonders, Changa too is real easy to smoke through a bong/bubler or VG.

Hey there, sadly I dont have a lot of time to hang around at the web at the moment but thanks for welcoming me.
2day SWIM's 100gr extract is pulled out of the freezer and drying on the window. outside its just above zero so the drying conditions are superb. The first pull seems to hold all the most spice, more than 0.5 gr 4 sure and the other two are looking good too, lots of floaters though.
SWIM must still recrystalize so what the final yield will be I'm not sure but the prospect looks good.

In the week SWIM can work on the leaf blends and in the weekend...
 
Hmmm, all dried and scraped into a little glass dish. smells delish...
Tried a little point for the taste, landed right on my ass, looking around like stoned monkey at spinning kaleidoscopes for about 15 mins. and that at 10.00 in the morning, tsk,tsk,tsk... Good thing I dont have to work today.

Altough there's feeling of succes SWIM's also a bit sad that the process of making it is now over. Starting with dried root-bark grinded to powder, basified, heated, pulled, washed, frozen, filtered, dried...

Still there's the leaf-blend's to do still and first a re-crystallisation.

Next time SWIM'll try A/B method, and first there has to come some decent lab gear, heating up the jar in a water bath resulted in the glass shattering. Nothing was lost but SWIM ended up with 3 liters of water instead of the initial 800ml.
But it is all a learning curve I guess...

SWIM has some brugmansia dried flowers, and knows it can be used for leaf-blends, anyone knows the effect? SWIM took brugmansia in tea once, resulting in a sort of horror trip and to much brugmansia can be deadly.

But maybe mixed with Harmala it will add to the experiance.

SWIM intends to make a Harmala-passionflower blend and Harmala-Brugmansia.
