Twelve 10ft steel pillars will be going up in Marfa, Texas. This installation will be visible from both U.S. Route 90 and the Amtrak rail line. Hmmm, this has me thinking about the nature of the visuals people experience.

Are the visuals just more vivid and elaborate versions of the close eyed visuals one gets when rubbing the eyes?
