I started my first baby steps into spice territory yesterday. Had some seemingly strange results. Started with a near threshold dose. The plan was to start with just enough to know my extractions succeded and then wait 12-24hrs and see if I coughed up any blood from smoking lye 😉. Within seconds of my first hit I notice familiar LSD type distortions with an intense mushroom style body-buzz. Also, almost simultaneously with my first exhale, I noticed I had a rock hard erection. I was not mentally/emotionally aroused. The visuals and erections lasted for approx 2-4minutes, the body-buzz lasted for nearly 20min. I did a search on the forums here as well as Google and have not found any other account of this side effect. Approximately 24 hours later a second "test" was performed, with a sample from a different extractions process. Same result, lsd visuals and a rock-hard, zipper-busting erection.

Any thoughts? Has anyone else had this happen at very low dosage (~15mg)?

I just want to make sure my rocket-ship is fit for space travel before the voyage.

also i saw a scientific article recently studying 5-meoNMT(or perhaps dmt) induced ejaculation in male mice...get u references when i get a chance...
 
Glad I could offer some amusement, lol. Thank you for the link to the articles. puts my mind as some ease. I'm going to try same dosage again and see if the symptom persists. going to pick up some mint tomorrow, I wonder if I'll have the same reaction with enhanced leaf? haha, I'd hate to come back to reality from some epic journey where I made love to the universe only to find out i've raped the dog :surprised , lol.
 
Yeah, I doubt you have anything to worry about unless it gets painful. Then you might want to reconsider.

If nothing else, maybe try to "clear the plumbing" so to speak before hand so it might not be an issue when you do decide to blast off.
 
Maybe you could use it as an opportunity to experiment with afterglow / orgasm interaction? Sounds fun :p
 
It really makes sense if you consider that psychedelics take a person outside of the "normal" third-circuit/left-brain/mind-over-body consciousness, and into something more artistic, primal, animal, sensual. I forget who said it, but I love the idea of "get out of your mind and back to your senses."

Without going into details, I find sex very difficult from a rational perspective. I can't be talking or thinking about bank accounts or bus schedules and get into my body at the same time. Any kind of ritual to distract the mind, candles, incense, psychedelics, so it can be overpowered and absorbed by sensory input, makes everything *much better.* Sometimes the mind can be a block to the body, and what is more overwhelming to the mind than smoked DMT?

Tryptamines can get erotic, and bring one to a very vivid state of body-consciousness, so it makes perfect sense for you to have experienced that.

All I really have to say is... high five. :p
 
I think when you breakthrough, if you get an erection, it won't matter as much :) -
Just don't fall for the trap of always associating DMT with the erection I guess.

Perhaps DMT is asking for an offering :lol: - wouldn't be the first time

actually i remember seeing on some documentary ancient cave art of shamans with hard-ons, and the host explaining how it was a very common thing. I guess there called 'archaic techniques of ecstacy' for a reason 😉

Erections can be a common feature of altered states and sleep.(David Lewis-Williams, The Mind in the Cave, (London: Thames & Hudson, 2004), p.265.) This is one reason why the figure in the above painting is believed to be of a Shaman.

I'll tell ya!!!

I myself have experienced this and I'd just shrug it off because I get erections with zero stimulation just riding in a car. But the thing with DMT erections, especially with harmaloids involved... well they put viagra to shame!!!

HUUUUGE!!! I'm not trying to get the lady's attention here either. But the most firm erections I have had have not involved women. Just DMT. If there was a valve to inflate the thing myself... I couldn't do a better job!

I found it such a novelty at first because the substances I was using when I was younger had the total opposite effect. i.e MDMA.

Another insentive to find me a spice girl... err...
